There is something so therapeutic and freeing to run by the ocean. You have that momentary release of all stress and worry. The smell of the ocean breeze has it flows through you and the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks. I feel so blessed and lucky to call this my home. Running is my therapy and my love. I wish everyone could experience what I feel from it. It has changed my life for the better and cured me from a lifelong battle with anxiety. It's my passion.
Only crazy people get up at 4am on a Saturday and run through the wind after a storm. The first half was insanely difficult. We basically ran against heavy wind. My lower back and ears started hurting. The way back was much easier. I felt like the wind was feeling guilty and helping me along the way back. We cut our run in half because of it. I ran 6 miles instead of 12 but it still felt great. I love running by the ocean!

A little blurry (I was running while snapping the pic) but super Ecstatic to have ran my 7-8 mile loop up by Harris Hill. It’s been well over a year since I last ran these hilly, steep, terrain roads. Usually, I run flat courses. It sure did feel amazing to be back out even after dealing with a stomach bug for a few days. Glad I changed my route because this was one of my best runs so far this spring💙🦋💙 I just know I’ll be sore the next few days, and I’m ok with that. Ice, stretch, drink lots of water! #run#running#scenicrun#7 .5milerun #countryrunning#backroadsrun#halfmarathontraining
Woke up at 3am this morning. Had a plan to run 11 miles but only got to 8 miles. My body kept cramping up and I was just exhausted. I ended up taking a quick cat nap when I got home and now I'm good as new! I also love my new Nathan running vest.
One of the great things about going for a run? Pretty sunsets and my playlist on blast. Mom time. I’ve always ran by or drove by this scene and always wanted to get a picture.
I ran 2 miles today. I love running in this warmer spring weather.
The thing about physical activity is you’ve gotta find that thing that puts you at ease. That brings you to a mental space and refreshes you.
Stretching and running does that for me. It’s something that’s so easy. You don’t need a membership, or any equipment. You just get on your work out clothes and go breathe some fresh air.
