Connecticut is not in the top 10 for renewable energy. There’s a mandate in CT that 28% of the energy needs to be renewable by 2020. For those who have not made the switch, there will be a penalty imposed on your electric bill which is always going up. Let’s get our state in the top 10 and help our environment while eliminating your electric bill forever. Contact me for the details. (203) 892-8211 #cleanenergy#solarpanels#consciousliving#savemoney

The holidays are one of the most stressful times of the year and that can wreak havoc on your immune system!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here are some tips to help you have a healthy and stress-free holiday season. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
* Get sufficient rest. Try to get 20-30 more minutes of sleep each night. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
* Keep your body moving. Exercise is a great way to relive stress and activate feel good hormones. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
* Nutrition is key. With all the sugary treats around make sure you are getting all your good nutrition in first! Eat a breakfast filled with protein, fiber, good fats and complex carbs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
* Wash your hands often. Such a simple thing but one that we might tend to forget. I make sure to wash my hands as soon as I enter my home. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you need help with simplifying your nutrition check out the link in my bio. As a busy mom with 4 kids I need all the help I can get! My nutrition system takes the guesswork out of eating healthy saving me time and money. Two things any mom could use more of! Network Marketing is called the Business for the 21st Century and here is the big question: At your current place of work, who is making a living and who is getting rich? It is whoever owns the asset. The asset is the business. This is where the control and wealth is. By working as an “Employee,” you are spending your 8 hour day building someone else’s asset. You are earning a living, and the owner is building a fortune. Think about it.....
Hey everyone! 👋🏼 My name is Joselyn Barron. I am from Houston Tx🤘🏼🌃 I have been with The Spindle Group for 4 years & I manage the Auto🚗🚗🚗 department. I started doing insurance in 2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣3️⃣ & since then it’s been something I’ve really passionate about! I love helping people out & help them understand coverages & save them 💰💰💰. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dachshund CANELA❣️🐶🐾 & also go out with my family & friends!💃🏻🕺🏻
I’ll admit it, this is pretty easy for me to say from my cold but not too cold Northern California homestead. BUT, we have super tall ceilings and let me tell you, heat definitely rises. This tip though, it’s hard. We want to keep our families warm enough to protect them from viruses, to keep them cozy and sometimes even to keep them from complaining. :) If you have kids at home, this is a great time to start teaching them to layer up and to save resources. At home without little ones? All the more reason to save energy, money and the climate by wearing more clothes and keeping the thermostat at a lower temperature (though not so low as to freeze your pipes!) - your pocketbook and your sleep will thank you! 💡🔌💸
If your goal is to save $5000 by the end of 2019 this is how much you need to save a month!
Let's talk about my budget fails. This week, there has been a lot of them.
First, I ate out a ton this week for dinner. I depleted my food cash to $9, which means I failed the $10 Cash Savings Envelope Challenge for one of my envelopes. To top it off, I used some of my Misc envelope again for eating out costs. This brings me to my second failure.
Second, I didn't update my meal plan this week like I had planned, hence the eating out. Thank goodness I had my lunches and breakfasts planned.
Third, I bought a huge dual cork and whiteout board to map out my 2019 business goals. Didn't need it, and I could have totally used something at home to accomplishment my goals, but spent the money anyways. This means a smaller debt payment this month from my business income.
Last but not least, I haven't updated spending in Quickbooks for my business in the last two days.
I have laundry all over my bedroom, my bathroom is a mess, and I have dishes piled in the sink.
This is called reality.
I have the weekend to get caught up, to regroup, and I will kick major butt next week.
Your journey, and my journey, will not always be filled with wins. But we don't give up. Stay the course, and keep pushing forward.
What budget fails did you have this week?
Fun Money has been our lifesaver when it comes to sticking to our budget! This is the money that covers fun activities like trips to the movies or bowling. Sometimes we use it for buying things that we want just because we want them (like my awesome Christmas sweaters!). Having this category in our budget makes sticking to our budget possible. •••
