We got our first “I’m ALIVE!” email! It was short and sweet and just enough to let us know he’s HaPpY and safe❤️ He will send us a more detailed email on Monday when he has more time to write!! I’m anxiously waiting to hear how the flight went and who is companion is and how the language is going!!! A nice lady on the plane and at the airport in Atlanta let the boys take these pics and send them to their parents ❤️ Nice people are my favorite. .
Also. I tubed the river today☔️This group of friends are simply irreplaceable. It was just the distraction this mamma needed to help get though one more day😩. “Tube the Tears Away!!” 😂
We talked, I cried.
We laughed, I cried.
We were attacked by branches and bugs, I screamed!! We had a GREAT TIME.... I sure enjoyed the company and council from all these sweet ladies and especially from my BiG SiS @michellerigby ❤️❤️ .
This experience has left me overwhelmed with the knowledge that I am loved. Thank you to everyone who has offered words of comfort. Who have brought over treats and Diet Coke and to ALL those friends who are “my people” and have my back. Thank you for the text messages and the DMs and wise words to live by. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. #lovemygirls#mypeople#feelingsoloved#saltrivertubing#bogotacolumbiasouthmission🇨🇴 #heathenzstyle

One at-home program changed my whole life.
My first few programs got me building healthy habits, and the last program had me see my best changes.
No long hours at the gym.
No counting calories.
Just following a workout program everyday, drinking my vitamins, veggies, probiotics, digestive enzymes, and superfoods in the form of s chocolate shake 🍫 and showing up every day. Even when I didn’t feel like it.
I didn’t see results at first, but sticking with it had truly changed my life 💜 and it can for you too.
Drop your favorite emoji below or fill out the form in my bio and I’ll send ya all the info ☺️
Cause I know there’s hundreds of transformations out there to see on social media (and trust me, I used to never think I could be one of them) but it all starts with one decision. The decision to start where you are and move forward ❤️
While holding a fun floating event for the FloatnThang water safety day, the gang was at the right place at the right time. 2 children (boy & girl) under 8 yrs of age, got sucked out in the current and trapped on the far bank. Two members went into action and swam to their rescue with Thangs in tow. The kids got on the back of each and held on. The FloatnThang ( in reverse arm float) provided perfect buoyancy for the swim back. The kids had no flotation. Always watch kids around water. #watersafety#floatnthang
River Party! I took my Paddleboard Bootcamp out for SUP on the river! They did awesome! When I started this business I wanted to get more women out trying fun, unique activities. I love how excited they get when they try something new! ❤️
👆Being reckless on the river.
I GOT MY PHONE BACK! Here’s the incredibly, unbelievable, true story of my adventurous phone. In my previous post, I mentioned how I had dropped my phone on the river - this is the continuation of the story. Last Tuesday, I got a call from a guy who found my phone on the river on Monday. I’m not going to lie, I didn’t believe this this was Dallas the YouTuber behind @manplusriver. Regardless, this person had my phone and I had to get it back. I ventured back to Arizona with @i_p_a this past weekend to get my phone back. Miraculously, after being underwater for 2 days my iPhone X still worked when Dallas found it and he managed to call me the next day to give me the good news. He’ll do a better job at explaining it all once he posts the video so stay tuned.
All I can say is I am incredibly lucky and eternally grateful to all the ones involved! I’ve learned my lesson to secure all valuables when I go tubing again 😉
Another awesome morning spent cleaning up wild spaces; this time, the Salt River at Phon D Sutton and Pebble Beach. Even though it was “clean” compared to how it normally is, there was still so much trash littered all over the place. It’s sad to see how little some people care about how they treat the Earth, and a little bit bewildering at the same time, since they’re trashing the very place that they’re enjoying.
If you have a chance to join a cleanup, please do. Or, just bring a trash bag with you next time and pack out more than you pack in.
And if you want to do even more, consider signing up to be a Wild Keeper. Applications are open now through September 14th. Here’s my three reasons why:
#1 - You’re actively making the world a better and cleaner place. Yes, it’s a drop in the bucket compared to the littering, corporate waste, and horrible trash management in many areas of the world. But it’s a step in the right direction. The impact you’ll make as a Wild Keeper isn’t just measured in pounds, it’s measured in the number of people who see you making a difference, and either join you in the effort, or rethink their littering ways.
#2 - You’ll meet amazing new people; people who, like you, care enough about this planet to do something about it. Make new friends, find new hiking buddies, and be connected to hundreds of people who are making a difference.
#3 - You’ll be supporting a local small business. Keep it Wild Co. was started here in Mesa, and the owners Sean and Cameron are two pretty awesome dudes. They’ve built this community of likeminded people, and it’s honestly pretty amazing. We need more entrepreneurs like them, who create companies with a purpose of making the world a better place.
