These guys are the biggest type of salmon, and they are highly priced by the industrial fisheries and sport #fishers
Sadly, open net Atlantic Salmon fisheries on the coast, destruction of their breeding grounds, and the melting snow caps are causing their populations to decrease in number.
But it's really easy to help them out! Of you don't want to be part of the problem, only consume #seafood that's approved by #oceanwise.

Trying new salmon recipes... this one is very simple!! olive oil, salt and pepper topped with lemon slices. Bake at 400 degrees F for 15-20 mins.

Sometimes I like having huge bowls, sometimes I’m just craving a simple bowl 🤗 Today I kept it simple with cauliflower rice, leftover salmon, grilled zucchini, and tomatoes 🍅 some days you’re more hungry than others and as hard as it is, I always strive to just listen to my body 🙌🏻 Does that mean I never accidentally overeat and have that ughhh I’m so full feeling? Nope- I definitely still have those nights but I think the important thing with that is to recognize it didn’t make me feel the best and then move on from it 🤷🏼♀️ I spent way too much time in the past feeling frustrated with myself for eating this or eating that 🤦🏼♀️ My mindset didn’t change overnight by any means but now I just try my best to eat to feel GOOD 👌🏻 Sometimes that means big veggie bowls, sometimes that means a big bag of popcorn, sometimes it’s a burger, sometimes it’s a cookie 💯 We’re all so different and you just cannot compare yourself to others and their needs 🙅🏼♀️ Remember to be kind to yourself and fuel your body in the way you think is best ❤️ Hope today treated you well guys and you have a great evening!!
