Legend has it, the devil took a bite out of a mountain near Templemore and spat out the Rock of Cashel. 😈

I'm thrilled to be part of @photofusionuk Salon 2018 which launched last Thursday 🎉
Showing the title image of my first externally funded photography project & book, which is 100 portraits I created at Cashel Arts Festival September 2016 and book launched at the Rock of Cashel, ancient seat of the High Kings of Ireland in September 2017 where I presented it to the people in the book as a personally signed and messaged gift 💚
The premise of the project was to ask people what the centenary of the 1916 Easter Rising Revolution meant to them & to show the faces of Ireland on that weekend and how the face of Ireland now include people from all the world from Poland to Africa.
Thanks to everyone involved in the project which I have already exhibited in Ireland, England and the US but hope to show further soon 🙏🏻🍀 especially @artscouncilireland , Cashel Arts Festival, participants, and many advisors mainly from @chelseaual & @unioftheartslondon ofartslondon
Thanks again to @photofusionuk for the opportunity to exhibit alongside so many exciting photographers.
Director @kimshawphotographer has revolutionised @photofusionuk not just to survive but to thrive into the 21st century 💁🏻✨🏆 and I feel very lucky to be part of the Photofusion family, London's oldest photography cooperative set up the year I was born by such visionaries as @ginaglover 💁🏻✨🏆, where I brought my ideas for the book to discuss at the monthly Saturday morning members' meeting 🤓☕️ Exhibition open until 12th January 🙏🏻💚
Alyssa, Shelby, and Katie leave the Rock of Cashel by way of the Path of the Dead to come upon the ruins of the medieval monastery, Hore Abbey. The Path of the Dead is a pathway named for its use in bringing the dead up to the Rock of Cashel for funerals. The Rock of Cashel is a walled medieval fortress in County Tipperary, Ireland. Home to grand 13th century Cathedral and 15th century Castle ruins, The Rock looks out over miles of picturesque lush green fields and the town of Cashel bellow.
Rock of Cashel - a beautiful place with both interesting and very dark history. Built on a 200’ limestone outcrop, the Rock was the seat of Ancient Kings, a place where St. Patrick baptized King Aengus about 450 AD, and has been fought over by many clans for hundreds of years. Today, almost 400,000 people visit the Rock annually. .

Went for a spin to visit the Rock of Cashel today.
Traditionally the Kings of Munster sat here dating back to the 4th or 5th century but most of what you see nowadays dates back to 12th century.
