Rice is staple in this part of the country. Food is cooked in mustard oil! With care. It is less spicy and encompasses a pretty intriguing element named Khar (link in bio for more detail). Food is served on Kansa metal plate or banana leaves (like in the picture).
It is astounding to see the varied styles of regional cuisine in India. More often than not, it surprises you, pleasantly!
