Day 587 - Nice rice vice
35km walking. Up & down. Back & forth. No summit to reach but an amphitheater to admire. A green amphitheater made of hundreds & hundreds rice terraces. Truly spectacular. UNESCO registered, if you insist.
Day 586 - Rice, rose, risen
The Philippines aren’t just beaches. They have a lot, that’s for sure, but they have another wonder. Up north lies some sexy rice terraces.
We were blessed with bright green, the color we missed in Vietnam. For rice terraces lovers it was porn.
One thing I love about Bali is that indoors is often the same as outdoors 🌴🌿
This is @tulenubud, a wonderful new addition to the Ubud restaurant scene. Someone recommended me this place, and she was right, the food is really good.
You will find a nice selection of local and international dishes here. That liver pate!!! Mmm-mmm!! 😍
By the way, guess why I don’t have a single photo of the liver pate... Exactly! By the time I was ready with the other pictures, it was too late 😂
The ambiance is great, everyone is friendly, and we could profit from the fact that this is a new restaurant, so it wasn’t full of guests. The kids could play in the garden and we could enjoy the rice field views.
We will be back for sure!
It’s only when you’re flying above the earth, you realize how incredible it really is. Wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow. The ricefields in Bali are one of those places. They say Bali chooses you, have you been touched by her already? 📸by @jonanwiergo#ricefields#Bali#360bali#360baliapp#balifood
