ALL day slumber child
Warm stewed pears and mandarins
New sunlight streaming.
// Flu season has hit us with a force, and eveyone sans Daddy is affected. Livinia has been craving baby sis`s staple of stewed pears and lots of vitamic C packed oranges and mandarins, and tomorrow I will have to leave the township to restock. On another note, super happy to be on the Beeswax wraps bandwagon and got these the other day from @honeybeewraps_beeswaxwraps and thus far love them! #littlechanges
Has the coming plastic bag ban got you thinking about how else to cut down on plastic use? Swap the cling wraps and plastic containers you use to wrap or keep food for reusable beeswax wraps! 👍
These colourful food-safe wraps are made from organic cotton fabric, natural beeswax, jojoba oil, coconut oil, and tree resin. Fully reusable and keeps food fresh longer, too! 🍎🧀🥗

As distressing as it is to hear so frequently these days what plastic is doing to our oceans, I am grateful that it is becoming a phenomenon that we are concerned with. I recently stumbled across these #reusablefoodwraps and am hooked! Produced by a small company in Stroud, UK, these wraps by @beeswaxwraps_uk are awesome. Great quality, great print, long-lasting and best of all reusable creating no waste. As if bees and their products weren't cool enough already...
We are so excited about a couple of things coming up soon! Can’t wait til we can share them with you. In the meantime, we still have our June sale going on over on Facebook 😀
We 💚the environment & sustainability! It's why when first developing our wraps we opted to use only natural ingredients ☝. Our LilyBee wraps are made from 100% cotton with a natural solution of beeswax, tree resin (pictured here), and organic coconut oil. So much nicer than plastic! Most of our fabric is organic cotton, however, we still have some conventional cotton. But rest assured we are working towards more sustainable options 😊.
@honeywrap is a beautiful way to keep your food fresh. Did you know their designs are created by NZ artists? Like this one that reminds you that by using it, you're reducing the amount of plastic that often ends up in the ocean, so you're saving marine life!
Come and see how it works at the Seriously Good Food Show on the 30th June and 1st July at ASB Arena Baypark.
Want to make #onechange to reduce plastic but unsure where to start? Use these gorgeous handmade reusable beeswax wraps! An easy switch to make and maintain long term. 🌿♻🐝

♢SUSTAINABLE♢ A very easy and affordable alternative for plastic wrapping: BEE'S WRAP🐝 It's a reusable food wrap that is made of bee wax. It's environmental friendly and your food doesn't go bad as soon as when it is wrapped in plastic. These ones are supposed to be used for cheese but I use them mostly for fruit and veggies as I don't eat cheese!

Making re-usable foodwraps with cotton and beeswax. My way to use less plastic.
I am also going to make some little mesh bag to take to the supermarket to put fruits and veggies in # stopplastic #reusablefoodwraps
