❤🐾HELP US HELP THIS DOG ❤🐾 Miami-Dade, FL: Buddy is a sweet senior in need of a home!
PLEA SENT ON 2/1 FOR FORGOTTEN SENIOR
We are so heartbroken about 11 year old #MickeyMouse AKA #Buddy. #A1986383 he’s been waiting and waiting since SEPTEMBER for a chance to be loved but he keeps getting passed over 😔 How can this be possible? He’s a sweet and gentle boy with great manners, very laid back. Once he gets to know you he’s the most loyal BFF and will not leave your side. Sadly he’s now become one of the longest residents at the shelter and needs out ASAP!
Please share far and wide for adopter, foster, rescue. No senior pup deserves to be at the shelter this.
#MICKEYMOUSE AKA #BUDDY#A1986383 I am a male black brindle and tan German Shepherd Dog mix.
The shelter staff think I am about 11 years old and I weigh 52 pounds.

While I was still with my ex, the thought of moving home began to cross my mind. I missed my family so much, and knew I wanted to build my own family where they could be loved by my family. While the love I had for him was strong enough to keep me from following my heart back home, I mentioned to him that it was beginning to cross my mind. That I was staying in Montana for him.
Then “we” bought the house and I got used to the idea of really building a future away from my family. It made me sad, but we had a house that we got to grow into together (so I thought), so my family would just have to visit often.
The day he left I told my mom I had no reason to stay in Montana anymore. I had nothing worth staying for. When he left, he told me to move back to NY like I had wanted (mind you he left me with a house and a mortgage payment and all the bills soooo easier said than done, bud) but I needed to be sure my move home was the right move and not done out of loneliness, or heartbreak, or uncertainty. I’m also really bad at doing things because people tell me to. For awhile, moving home felt like he won. From August until December I tried to find a reason to stay in Montana. I got back into the dating scene and the more time that past the more I realized I was being pulled back to NY.
I got as many ducks in a row as I could and made the move back to NY, and while moving to MT was an amazing adventure and a decision I’ll never regret, I can tell you that moving back home saved me.
I’m back where I’m meant to be. My mental health is better than ever, despite some really crappy circumstances and events that have transpired. I’m happy, I’m healthy, and I’m loved. Not that I wasn’t loved prior, but being so close to my loved ones again is indescribable. Never taking this for granted again.
I spent the morning working on my photography skills with some pretty cute models 🐶 The shelter can always use volunteers to walk the dogs and take pictures on Saturdays! Let me know if you'd like to help (or want any info on these cuties!) @aavarescue
#PrincessAdi showing off both the frozen sea (!) and her beautiful new @wakakanshop collar (all the way from sunny Spain). Also, Pic #2, this dog who doesn’t like to swim couldn’t resist wading out armpit deep to check out the little ‘bergs ❄️

Our hearts are full. Gaia has finally found the family to call her own.
Gaia was rescued under a collapsed bridge in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria along with her 4 pups.
She was fostered by most amazing foster mom @notyourbeba for months and we were waiting for that special family to come along and see how beautiful Gaia is. Inside - out. This day she has been dreaming of finally came today! She will be loved forever.
This is what rescue is all about.
Mika was the guest of honor last night at @itsaruffliferescue Spay-Ghetti and No Balls gala! We still have some work to do to help Mika be the best pup she can be, but she’s getting there. Very proud to be her Foster Mom.
"Your happy ending may not be what you expect, but that is what will make it so special." ❤️
This is Ruby. Last year, my dear friends decided they were ready to start fostering. They fostered the cutest, sweetest pair of kittens that they named Max and Ruby. I took this picture of Ruby while I was visiting them. They found these two a loving home together! Although I did not foster them, it just makes me smile thinking of them and their now happy life. With kitten season coming up, I hope you'll consider fostering, adopting, or donating to a rescue (@cofaspets) or shelter. You'll be giving kittens just like Ruby a chance at a happy life! Thank you to everyone that is already doing this. You're awesome! ♡♡
