My Graduation photos from #lifetouch came in and I had a good laugh about how they literally #redfaced me. 😂😂😂
I called in to their Customer Service and they insisted there was no filtering of any sort... but you can tell from the snapshots taken that day that clearly some sort of alterations took place. I wasn’t pleased with the way CS spoke to me; I suggested perhaps their printer wasn’t properly calibrated. Yet when I look at this, my eyes look blood shot, my teeth are just as magenta as my skin, and eyebrows are faded out. I thought it was maybe the lighting or time of day so I checked again today, and nope, still pretty Red or Magenta... Hopefully they send out better quality photos.
I know I don’t take the best photos ever, but this is ridiculous.

Christmas party vibes 💕😊 Almost threw on a filter to minimize my red face but I’m just gonna own it. One sip? Red cheeks. Stressed? Red cheeks. Embarrassed? Red cheeks. All of the above? Yikes. Hiding. Just kidding. 🤣Whatevs. This is me. At what point did we decide that we have to cover up our so called flaws and put a filter on it? Although I do admit I still do enjoy a good filter - just not all the time. And on my own terms.

When I first moved to Sydney, I did the coastal walk and was amazed at how many people were running it. Having never run long distances myself, I thought i wouldn’t ever be able to do that, nor would I even want to! Then I started to enjoy running. And today, with a terrible time (there are a lot of stairs, twists and turns!!!) and running through a lot of pain, I managed to run the full length of the coastal walk (including the new extended bit to Maroubra). The thing that amazed me today was how many chicks are running in a full set of make up, fake eyelashes and hair perfectly in place (next goal 😉). As you can see, I look a lot less glamorous when i run, lobster red faced 🥵, sweaty, hair’s a mess and no make up. I finally got back to the gym this morning after almost a month off 🙈
A whole month WTF ? 😂😭 Between our biggest business month ever, travel, and sickness my priorities had to juggle a bit. And you know what, sometimes that’s ok !
What really matters isn’t how many times you fall, how many days you miss, how many excuses you make. It’s that you get back up ! 🙌🏼 Excuse me while I pop a drop of heli on my blister and bathe in ice blue rub and franky boy 😂 Going to the toilet is going to be an issue 🤣

Hey there.... I have been doing breakfast differently the last few weeks. I am blending oat bran(I cook it first, before adding it to the blender), almond milk, a little maple almond butter, and an apple. It taste great and I can drink it in the car in the morning. I do drink protein powder separately after the smoothie. I haven't tried adding it the smoothie yet.
It was a cardio day today. I hit it hard and fast, with very little break between exercises. Elliptical 20 min with 10 sec bursts every minute. Rowed fast for 5 minutes. Stationary bike for 10 minutes with going hard for 30 sec and rest for 30 seconds. Finished off with 2 HIIT workouts. I was going to record the HIIT workouts but, someone else was in the space and did want them walking through. First HIIT was all medicine ball (burpees, squats to over head press, and medicine ball slams) and the second I did floor exercises (plank with dumbbell lateral arm raises, plank jacks, and plank cross knee to elbow, with a push up in between). Good workout. Pushing myself more. That's me!!! Cardio days are tough for me...I don’t like cardio...at all. BUT I always feel fantastic afterward, which is why I do it!!! 30 minutes and it’s over and I’ve done something really good for me and I can get on with my day with a feeling of accomplishment!!! I’ll take that any day!!!
Most days I don't wear any make up at all. I work from home so I can usually be found in my pyjamas, with a topknot and no make up on. But when I look in the mirror I still expect to see the face on the right, and it's always a shock when I don't. It's like I am two people in one, does anyone else feel like that? 🤔 #talontedlexrosacea
