Fox had his first furry cow ear today by @finerbynatureuk. It's safe to say he really enjoyed it, even if it did stink 😷😂 It lasted a lot longer (about 30 mins) than the furry rabbit ear he tried which was gone in seconds due to its crispiness (although he is a power chewer). Of course, it's a completely natural product which makes it nice and healthy with lots of protein.
A throwback... On a Sunday? What a rebel! 😱 I'm not sure exactly where this was taken but it is somewhere in the West Highlands. As of Wednesday, our Instagram will be looking more like this! I can't wait for all of the peaceful space to explore, and Fox is going to love it!
Happy #humpday everypawdy! As soon as Mum saw this blossom, she just HAD to take a photo of me (😒) which is why I look so unimpressed, because I just wanted to explore! Today we'll mostly be indoors as it's raining heavily all day and I don't like to get wet, what are your plans?
We've been trying out @barkerandbarker little liver and arctic fish treats for a week now, and I have to say that I am impressed! They are a high value reward, which makes them good for training new behaviours, or working in distracting environments. I also like that they are completely natural and human grade (e.g. the liver flavour contains: pork liver, minerals and brewer's yeast), which makes them the perfect choice as many treats now contain poor ingredients which may have an adverse effect on health. They are also really low calorie (e.g. the small liver treats have 0.3 calories per treat, and the medium fish have 0.7 calories per treat); this means that you don't need to worry about about treating your dog whilst maintaining a good weight! I like that they come in handy pots, as it means that I don't have to have loose treats in my pocket or treat bag, and these pots can be re-used for more treats!
Fox has been a big fan of them, and they've really helped with our recall training as well as his reactivity and fearfulness (I have made a previous post about this). When I ask him for a behaviour, he has been responding quicker and is more motivated to leave interesting smells on our walk and come back to me. I would definitely give these a 5/5!
Barker & Barker treats can be bought in pots and pouches, in a range of sizes and quantities. There are also many different flavours available, so hop over to their website and have a look. They are also hosting a 1k giveaway at the moment, where you can win a range of prizes 😉
