same clean eating concept as my last post...steamed broccoli w a garlic clove n sprinkle of salt • seared steak seasoned w salt n pepper then sliced • brown rice • for the very light sauce in a small pot drizzle of avocado oil, couple cloves of garlic, sea salt, cayenne pepper, squeeze of blue agave, coconut aminos n a bit of water let it simmer for a couple minutes n then drizzle over ur goods in the bowl 😋 fast n delicious n def hits those flavor cravings 🎉 #cleaneating#dinner#healthyfood#lowcarb#glutenfree#soyfree
when ur clean eating u can’t eat certain items like Twinkies n soy sauce n I’ve been craving Korean style marinated chicken • so for my organic skinless boneless chicken breasts I used coconut aminos which is very similar to soy sauce along w a tiny squeeze of organic raw blue agave instead of sugar, some sea salt, cayenne pepper for a little heat, couple cloves of garlic, drizzle of avocado oil n a drizzle of water (I would’ve used fresh ginger but didn’t have any on hand) • let it marinade for a couple hours...for it’s side kicks I made brown rice n bok choy that I steamed w a couple garlic gloves n sprinkle of salt • in a hot pan I seared the chicken for a couple minutes on both sides n then added a tiny bit of water to cover the bottom part of chicken (this keeps it moist n makes a little sauce) let it simmer on both sides for a couple more minutes (depending on the thickness of chicken breasts) • this chicken was so tender n delicious n def satisfied my craving...now I need a clean eating snickers bar alternative 🎉🎉🎉 #lowcarb#cleaneating#glutenfree#soyfree#dinner#healthyfood 😋

Not everything has to be BIG, but in the case of my kitchen table and chandelier over the table, BIGGER was the way to go for the impact I was looking for!
BEFORE kitchen - second slide (60” dark wood table with 6 linen chairs and a small 20” chandelier) - it was nice. I love my pendants over the island but this chandelier was not blending well.
AFTER kitchen – third slide (70” glass top mirrored base table with 6 velvet grey curved chairs with chrome legs, and a large 30” chandelier) - I love it!
I added soft velvet lumbar pillows on the chairs for extra comfort and they also look great! As you can see, I love bling in my house. The crystals, glass, mirror, all goes well with the light and bright theme of my house.

my #lacanche loves to cook n so do I 💖 still cleaning eating n it feels so good even though I’m a sicko at the moment 😷 but it doesn’t stop me from making a whole pan of #cleaneating yum 😋 infused garlic olive oil, sautéed fresh spinach, squeezed a little lemon juice, took out of pan then seared chicken breast (filleted in two) w a simple pink salt n pepper sprinkle on both sides n three cloves of garlic...once cooked through drizzled a bit of olive oil n squeezed some lemon juice n added some tablespoons of pasta water...moved the chicken over brought them all together...little salt pepper on the pasta (ancient grain gluten free) tossed it in the yummy pan juice n served it to myself w extra lemon wedges n red pepper flakes 🎉🎉🎉 yes I still have an appetite when I’m sick 🐷 #dinner#mediterraneanfood#glutenfree#healthyfood

Our current project is covered in drywall dust so here’s an oldie. This house was barely 1k sq ft and went to a family of 4 who was downsizing from 2k+ to get out of debt. I thought that was pretty cool because debt sux.

Collaborating with other creatives makes for happy work days. I had to share this awesome 📸 from #garlandbags. My sweet friend works from home which sounds easy & fab....not so much when real life sets in. However, we recreated this work space to make it a happy place. what to do w my leftover roasted cauliflower (about 2 cups) n roasted diced sweet potato (about 2 cups as well) n keep it clean eating I made a rich hearty comforting cozy stew I want to nap in 🎉 In a large pot generous drizzle of olive oil sautéed one large yellow onion chopped, about 1.5 lb organic free range ground turkey w some seasonings n spices like nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice (all three a good generous pinch 1/4 tsp) 1/2 tsp of paprika (not smoked) for rich color n flavor, pink salt to taste n pinch of pepper (add cayenne if u love some heat 🔥) once cooked through n lightly browned I added small organic can of tomato paste n couple cups of water stirred till dissolved n simmered for about 5-10 minuets then added the cauliflower n sweet potato also added half organic can of garbanzo beans • let it simmer for a bit since everything was already cooked through (about 15-20 min) • I made brown rice to serve w it for extra comfort or eat wout the rice for low carb option • I sprinkled toasted pine nuts in the end for extra texture n flavor 😋 so good my kids ate it wout a complaint 🎉🎉🎉 #healthyfood#cleaneating#glutenfree#lowcarb#paleo minus the garbanzo 🌸

I roasted some cauliflower the other night n felt a little sad 😭 disposing the stem n stalks so I washed them well, chopped them up, sautéed them in grape seed oil w a couple garlic cloves, then the shrimp n then threw in brown rice #pasta, couple table spoons of pasta water squeezed the juice of half a lemon n sprinkled red pepper flakes...light, satisfying n repurposing something that we would normally discard 💚 we need to start stalking our stalk 🥂🎉 #cleaneating#mediterraneanfood#glutenfree#healthyfood#dinner

I made a small pot of chicken broth last night w two thighs. Today I turned it into a quick #cleaneating chicken noodle soup w toasted brown rice pasta (it brings out the flavor plus keeps it’s texture longer) kale n garbanzo beans...in the end I sprinkled some cayenne n squeezed some lemon juice for a little heat n tartness...love the texture of the baby kale cuz I added it towards the end n let the hot broth cook it down...the garbanzo beans were organic canned (cuz we can sometimes 🎉) my kids r allergic to this type of #chickensoup 🥂 #glutenfree#healthyfood#mediterraneanfood#sick@moniloveshealthy my clean eating guru 🙌🏼
Vitamin C Monster Smoothie
My go-to smoothie when I'm feeling a bit under the weather. Perfect for when you're feeling that cold winter weather get to you!
Ingredients •1 cup orange juice
•1/2 cup mangoes
•1 banana, frozen
•1 scoop greek yogurt, optional
•1/2 cup strawberries, optional
Start with your OJ in the blender and mix in mangoes. Blend til smooth.
Mix in a banana til smooth (I use frozen bananas so it makes the smoothie creamier). Peel 2 persimmons and toss them in and mix til smooth.
Optional: mix in strawberries and greek yogurt!
Optional: top with slice banana and peanut butter chocolate granola
