Review: If you've ever wondered what it would be like for your life to be changed, to have some more moral values be placed upon you, or to feel like your life isn't so bad, this book has done so for me. Expect the usual classic 1700-1800 language one might randomly find when talking to a fellow "bookie" or on other occasions, such as indignation, incorrigible, confounded, there are so many to list I can't type but have on the top of my tongue. And language/specifics of 1800's Italy & also France (people, places, things - many times an online dictionary helps immensely to bring you there 'vision-arilly speaking)
This book was written, I believe, either during the time when Napoleon was still reigning, or had been expelled from rule, and is very much announced throughout this book; it is a big part of this story. The main character, Edmond Dantes, a young sailor who lives in Marseilles... (also expect literature and vast knowledge thrown at you of 1813-ish era France... I mean huge stuff and literature in general you might not expect.; don't worry, it won't bore you). Edmond's life is turned around when two of his enemies (Fernand - who desires the love of his romance Mercedes - and Danglars - a lower positioned sailor who wishes the reign of captain upon the ship under the good-fellowed and mentor of Edmond --named Monsieur Morrell -- but whose skill is flat under that of Edmond. The two enemies plot alongside a companion of Edmond, a man named Caderousse, whom is given by the two so much wine to almost completely forget of the plan made by them - that of forging a letter which relates the captain of Morrell's ship (not spec. stating Edmond of course) writing to a fellow named Nortier - a Bonapartist - which at the time with Napoleon not under reign - was considered conspiracy against the king of France -- political exile.
Here comes the blow - the plan would not have worked out if the ... prosecutor Villefort had not had familial relations to that of Nortier - him being his father -. So when Villefort came to find out of

Do you watch World Cup 2018? Which team do you support?
Since I'm an Asian and really adore their culture, I'm on Japan team! And of course Spain! Spain is always be my favorite👍
Let me know which side are you!😆
I accidentally posted this yesterday lmao did you notice it 😂
Today's #reads ! The first picture is the stack of books we read through while snuggling in bed.
Before anyone is too impressed- the boys were only half listening 25% of the time. Also, it had been a week since we'd had reading time.
The other pictures are my three favorites from today. Learning doesn't have to be boring! I somehow didn't even realize that Thomas Edison was #homeschooled until today. Also, the girls loved learning about the #vital role honeybees play in their various ecosystems (although today's book was about the grasslands specifically). The most interesting book surprisingly to me was the book about Jesse Owens. I found it via @thegoodandthebeautiful booklist. It brought up several topics my kids hadn't known about much before: segregation/Jim Crow laws, the persecution the Jews faced, Germany, Hitler, etc.
I love it when we read a book and it leads us to another book and topic and so forth. We may be "off" for the summer but that doesn't mean they aren't learning!
Only a handful of days until I get to meet and hangout with some amazing authors. I picked these up today from a local bookstore for @isaacmarion to sign Saturday night. Hope he doesn’t get too offended I photographed them with weeds. My flowers are yet to bud, but it won’t be long now—they had a lot of growing to do after the final snow melt.
This is why I love getting my workout in before work! 5am workout then head to work and get to come home, cook dinner with my Fiancé and cuddle up in a chair with a great personal development book! I have been putting off my PD and it’s time to jump back in! It seriously is a ray of positivity in my life and gives me confidence in myself! So I have to make time for it and myself! Anyone else tried reading personal development and have any favs?! 📖😍 #personaldevelopment#reads

Hey, come state?
Micro Book Review // This is another read I just haven’t gotten around to posting a review about but don’t let that have any negative impact on this book. I used to be an avid short story and essay reader but recently I have not fully enjoyed these types of stories. This is an exception. Samantha Irby had me cracking up laughing and interested in what she was going to say next. If you are looking for a fun and easy to read book this one is a gem. Plus a cat on the cover? That sold me from the moment I saw it! Hilarious and poignant...I cannot wait to read more of what Irby writes in the future!
