Via P42 803 clears belleville yard limit a head of 2691 and 5736. Heading down to elmwood.
Notice signal protection hasnt reverted to reds and the p42 is basically on the main. Not sure if its setup for detection at the points end of the switch of if its a malfunction. Normally the isolation track for detection is beneath the signal mast itself and the signals revert to red once the train clears under the towers. Any thoughts leave ur comments below.
But i will tell u 1000% when CN swapped the old mitchel rd signals to the new elmwood cross over. Either the contractors or CN .issed track 1 detection and i have pics of a train heading east rolling past a lite green signal that just activated from red. Clearing the train following to proceed. Within a week of me seeing this there was an accident between a via and a truck on that track that killed the truck operator. Im convinced the track detection was messed up and thats why the truxk was hit. According to dispatch.. there was nothing in there.. 1000% thats what i think went down. Just a simple mistake. Makes a big difference tho.. good luck proving it now.
