New link in bio!! I walked in the real catwalk to represent intersectionality. In the fashion world, this is hardly acknowledged, and people are very rarely represented. I think it was amazing to be a part of a group of people that stood up for themselves and for people like them around the world. Major brands get away with the gentrification and cultural appropriation of people. Influencers, models, and other people in the fashion industry, are not taking a stand, when a stand needs to be taken. People who should be representing us, are staying silent, and not raising our voices up, their fame is more important than their people. I was truly honored to walk the real catwalk, over 200 beautiful people, came together to stand up and say enough is enough.
The only good photo without the cardigan, I love this belt! I found it in the hallway of my apartment complex. When I tell you I'm thrifty I'm not fuckinaround
Another #bpsewvember that I missed was day 10 Dear Past Me which is a really sweet one I don't wanna miss out on...
Dear past me,
You would never guessed you would love your wardrobe so much. You never guessed you could be proud of clothing that was second hand or found in a box labeled "Free." You don't have to sport name brands or big companies. You discovered that old clothes have history, and you like being apart of it. You never imaged feeling so confident and comfortable when you walk out the door. You feel like Mason more and more every day and it's a very liberating feeling. It's okay to work slowly out of your comfort zone, and it's okay to wear the same clothes over again. Becoming an eco conscious artist has helped with a lot of these little struggles. So keep on the path you are currently on, because you're doing just fine 👌🏽👌🏽 #ootd#mensfashion#bpsewvember#dearpastme#isew#thrifted#secondhand#upcycle#qwearfashion#transfashion#mensfashion#gayyootd#mensootd
And so, my chapter in Atlanta has officially come to a close. Today I’m moving back to where it all began. Feeling ready for this new chapter and feeling grateful to see another day. Reminding myself that sunrises and sunsets are guaranteed every day and each day I too can live with purpose. Sending immense love to the beautiful people I couldn’t say bye to in person. May all of you continue to live in your truths, prosper and above all else shine, shine, shine. See you later! ✨
