#Repost from @baccvol with @regram.app ... Erika 44189 AT RISK LIST 10/18/18 BROOKLYN, NY A volunteer writes: I didn’t have the heart to tell Erika that her cute little sweater was inside out. In spite of the tag sticking out, she looked so adorable in it and it seemed to provide her with a little comfort, perhaps her version of a security blanket. You see, Erika may seem a bit shell shocked when you first meet her. While she was described as “friendly, loving and outgoing” on intake, she gave me a shy and reserved initial impression. Her pouty face and somber eyes only seem to confirm her confusion about her current whereabouts. However, once I got her outside, and once she relieved herself, (she seems very housebroken!) her true colors started to come out. Erika is an athlete! She loves fetch and even drops the ball on command. When I gave her a squeaky toy she did the most adorable zoomies around it, stopped to give it a play bow, and then resumed her zoomies again. She knows sit, down and give paw and when you reward her with a treat she takes it so gently. My time with Erika left me wanting more. I’m sure you’ll feel the same. #RESCUE#erika#erica#adoptdontshop#adopt#foster#volunteer#brooklyn. #boroughbred#pitbullsofinstagram#pitbull#americanbulldog#rescuedismyfavoritebreed#dogsofinstagram#dogs#nyc#newyork#newyorkcity#sweater#puppybreath
How is it that I’ve been on this earth for 3 months already?! My favorite things are:
Looking for the best stick in the yard, getting muddy, playing with cat toys, chewing bones and attacking my people with kisses ♥️ oh, and waiting for my big sister Leila to finish her food so I can lick her bowl clean.
