The Carolina Hurricanes are looking to move the 26 year old forward who is going to be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. He has a team friendly cap hit at $1.75 million, but look to see him go to a team with a bit more cap space as he is asking for a signing similar to Tom Wilson’s 6 year $5.17 million per year contract. The Vancouver Canucks, Boston Bruins, Edmonton Oilers & the Pittsburgh Penguins have expressed interest in Ferland. Look to see how this plays out as the trade deadline approaches. #TCTV

Word is the Capitals are listening in on offers for the young forward. After steady production over the years, Burakovsky appears to have fallen out of favour in Washington having put up only 11 points through 42 games. Keep an eye on the Caps in the coming weeks folks, there may be some movement.. #TCTV

🚨Hip Opens 🔥
Arvidsson opens his hips to help tuck the puck home 👌. Being able to open your hips can add a lot to your game. Here’s another situation where opening your hips can benefit you. By opening his hips, his body turns to face the net, this makes it easier for him to reach and wrap the puck 👀. It also make it easier to handle the puck here as well. If he doesn’t open his hips, his arms have to cross in front of his body and he loses strength when he tries to tuck the puck. Try this out next time you have speed going around the net, opening your hips will allow for a faster wrap and give you more strength on your stick 👊. #skatewithpower

Forward Christi Vetter (8) celebrates with forward Natalie Heising (20) during the women's hockey game against Lindenwood at Pegula Ice Arena on Jan. 21, 2019. The Nittany Lions defeat Lindenwood 2-1 and secure a series sweep.
A simple drill that focuses on teaching the player how their weight must shift from the back to the front when shooting.
Player should keep the range of motion inside the width of their skates.
Add a second pattern to work on more hand speed.
Never forget when Montoya didn’t even notice Matthews wrister 😂

Game highlights vs. #6 (CAN) Kelowna Rockets.
Was it a goal?
It was an amazing game this morning. The boys took the 6th ranked team in Canada into overtime, and eventually lost 6-5. But they proved a lot to themselves. That should serve them well in Quebec next month. But they’re still not done here in Phoenix. Gotta win at 4:50 CST to advance to the championship game.
The boys moved to 2-0 on the showcase with a 5-2 win over Phoenix tonight.

Hockey is literally my life. Not only do I work full-time for BAHA, (and as of two weeks ago, taken the additional role of Events Coordinator for the Gallatin Ice Foundation), I also coach and play the sport...when I can. Am I exhausted/stressed/overwhelmed😰? Yes!!! Do I still love it? Absolutely🤗! I wouldn’t trade my career for anything. I’m so incredibly lucky to be where I am, doing what I love. I’ll admit, sometimes I wish I could have an actual social life outside of the rinks and remember what dating is like (jk☺️), but then I remember that the only people I want to hang out with are crazy hockey-loving weirdos anyway.
P.S. I’m sorry to all my friends for being so flakey these past few months because of my job. The Gloves Off Gala is going to be so fricken awesome and I will see you all in May when I get my life back 😂
