Sorry I haven't been posting much lately! But in other news the book I ordered from @pabkins arrived and I'm just so excited! There are so many talented artists featured in this and I can look through it for hours! I was also sent a gorgeous matte print which is super cute and AAAAAAH it's a little forest circus!!! 🎪🎪🎪 The #artitupwithfriends community is so inspiring and such a wonderful place and Pabkins does a fantastic job with EVERYTHING and is this magical glue that bonds all these wonderful fantasy artists together through this book and the ATC trades. And her art is just so interactive and beautiful the eyes are constantly discovering new things in her pieces!
A very interesting and informative map of the Male Route to Churchford in the Bay of Matrimony, travelling between Introduction Cliffs and Luckless Islands, past past Shy Point, Florist Bill, Kiss Me Quick, Engagement City, Trousseau and Oblivion. The traveller has to take great care to avoid Wrecks and Jilt Rocks before finally arriving at his destination of Churchford. The journey appears to be quite hazardous but is full of rewards...so the experts say!
A very charming, unusual map of the elusive land of Matrimony! From the Island of Hope, via the Province of Courtship and the Land of Promise, and a small detour to the Lake of Presents, we reach the Kingdom of Happiness which can also be reached by using the Road to Content. There is lots more to be discovered! Very rare...the map as well as a happy marriage!
A beautiful oblong folio lithograph of #MeninTights from ‘Festalbum der Feier des Eintritts Berns in den Schweizerbund, 6 März 1353, ...’, a documentation of a historical procession, held on the occasion of the 400th anniversay of Bern’s joining the Swiss Confederation. Alltogether, there were 60 lithographs created by Kümmerly and Wittmer in Bern after drawings by H.Jenny and compiled by Dr. Ludwig Strantz, a Swiss heraldist and glass painter. Each plate depicts a regional armed force with heralds, musicians, guilds and soldiers.

Paul Jerrad, London, c1850.- original hand coloured lithographed, high-lightened with Gum Arabic, in acid free mount. image size 23 x 33 cm, mount size 40 x 50 cm. text printed on verso is not related to the print. excellent condition. - Beautifully compositioned lithographed print with very fresh colouring - the photos just don’t do it justice! The central image is surrounded by a gold printed border, depicting branches and various fruit. This print was lithographed and published by Jerrad in ‘Gatherings of the Orchards’; the book is quite rare and prints seldom are being offered for sale on the open market.- [ref: 3868]
