Happy memory with a bunch of my former students! They all started lessons in elementary/middle school...three are in college now, two seniors, and a junior - soaring high! (I’m getting old 💀) Thankful to their families for trusting me, for trying their best even when I was tough, and all the lessons they taught ME - so proud of you guys! Have you played your scales yet? ♥️ #flute#flutes#studio#formerstudents#fluteteacher#formerteacher#love#practice
So looking forward to starting this today! I’ve had a few days off insta and enjoyed the little break ☺️
Anyone else fancy joining?? 🧘🏼♀️

I met @elijxh.m and @debshot_ a few weeks ago through my friend @reinarosexo at a the @itflcoapparel fashion show that she was a model in. After being introduced to them as a photographer, they were asking me a lot of questions about my experiences and some of our conversation seemed overwhelming because I didn’t feel like I had all the answers and I’m still learning things myself. So who am I to give advice when I’m no big shot photographer with clients dying to book me. At the end of the conversation, I told them that they can come by the spot and show them the home studio space and get some practice photographing people. I was hoping to gather a group of people but it wasn’t to be. Thankfully @sonitabonitaa came over and I had to be a model myself but everything all and all turned out great. Like I said earlier, I’m no rockstar photographer but from past experiences, people either want to help you or see you as a threat and give you the cold shoulder. I want to see everyone win and if I can help someone go somewhere positive in life I’m down. It’s difficult to get support when you’re a creative and have your own business. Especially ironically from your own people. So I’m just trying to share what I know and help them get ahead. Stay tuned for the finished product soon. Peace and love

Some stuff I've done this week, especially experiments with hair, light, colour and style. Sorry if some of those seem messy, they were free hand sketches I did. Hope you like it anyway!
Also, is there anything you'd especially like to see on this account? Let me know, I'll be glad to do some of your ideas :D

Hi friends 🤗 Sorry I haven’t been very active with Tutorials - life’s been super busy (in the best way🙌). Pose: Modified Supported Tiger Pose
First and foremost: ALWAYS do your warm ups before jumping into any deep pose. You want to make sure your body is ready for it and that you’re taking your time. Let each pose be an invitation into the body, rather then forcing it.
-5-10 sun sals. -Hold high and low lunge (both sides) add in a little back bend to really dig into the hip flexors. -All the yummy quad and hamstring stretches you can this of - these are key to making this pose accessible!
-Warm up your spine : cobra, seal, up-dog, standing back bend, bridge, wheel, camel. -Warn up your wrist - see my video a few post back for wrist strengthening and flexibility.
-Take your time, breathe into each movement.
- Ask you body how it feels before going deeper- and be honest with yourself about this! -You want to make sure you have a clear breath in ever pose - if you’re struggeling on an inhale- that usually means you’re past your limit, so be easy on yourself :) Pose:
-Place the blocks just above the knee - not on your knee.
-Extend the opposite leg back, toes uncurled - Actavice the extended leg by pressing it into the earth - Push out of your palms and shoulders
- Hips press down towards the earth - view point to the ceiling
- Bending the grounded knee (when you feel comfortable to do so)
- Lifting the knee that’s on the blocks, off the blocks - pulsing up and down
Woah, first post ever after 84 years since i created this account
First this was just a random painting practice but then I got really extra and then knowing me, I just rushed to the end cuz got lazy and wanted to move to other drawings :')
I wish to be more active and post more pics to this account but I'm so slow at drawing so I guess it's not gonna happen sob;;; I'm gonna try tho!
Dez to SF? Yes or no?
Although the 49ers seem to be set at receiver with Pierre Garcon, Marquise Goodwin, Trent Taylor and rookie Dante Pettis, maybe there’s room in San Francisco for a three-time Pro Bowler?
The 29-year-old Bryant seemed to think so recently when he said in a now-deleted Instagram message that he wants to play for the 49ers. “The best guess from those around the league is Bryant will get his wish to play with the 49ers, but that isn’t a done deal by any means,” Bleacher Report’s Mike Freeman reported on Thursday. “With training camps set to open soon, we should know more in a few weeks.” Now before we start envisioning Bryant hauling in passes from Jimmy Garoppolo, consider what John Lynch has said on the matter. The 49ers general manager said while he respects Bryant, he’s excited about the receivers the 49ers have now.
Bryant’s time in Dallas has included some big seasons, with his 88-catch, 16-touchdown 2014 season at the forefront. But his stay with the Cowboys has also been marked by some attitude issues and his last really good season was four years ago. Coupled with a so-so 2017 season (69 catches for 838 yards and six touchdowns), and it’s not difficult to understand the skepticism surrounding Bryant.

This is how to conclude a awesome weekend! 🏌️♂️⛳️😎 #practice
💗 As a recovering perfectionist (😆!) I sometimes need help remembering that I should extend compassion toward myself - a call to mindfulness that I'm doing my very best to be well (mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, etc.) in the world...in ways that are balanced and healthy. It might seem ridiculous (or silly, or cheesy, or all of the above!!!), but one thing I do to help bring my attention to what truly matters is to leave myself a lil' love note on my test strip bottle lid. It's something I see 8-10 (or however many) times a day...and these times just happen to coincide fairly consistently with when I might be inclined to beat myself up over what my glucometer screen is telling me - 🙄 as if that's some true measure of my efforts and/or worth!................................🌟Are there any other recovering perfectionists out there? What do you do to help ensure you're being as kind to yourself as you are to others & not letting perfectionism get in the way of trying new things and enjoying all that life has to offer?.................................... Sending 💗💙 to all my diabuddies & buddies who navigate perfectionism and its impacts! 💕🦄
