And in this moment••I’m PROUD to be a MOM!
It’s hard to go through the seasons of moming! My oldest is 11...so I’ve been through them all except the teen season..which feels like im currently going through🙄
It gets frustrating Mom’s! I know more than anything!
I deal with diapers, toddler tudes, boys fighting, fist fighting, boys learning about sex from kids at school, bullies, the “I hate yous”, the no sleep, the exhaustion, and I could go on!
But in the end, when you see these amazing humans their becoming and how much they love you and need you to pave the way for them..it’s truly amazing 💕

Being a new parent is hard. If you find you are struggling please reach out to someone and let them know. Help can come in a multitude of different forms and even a small amount can make a big difference. If you see a new parent struggling, make sure you reach out, it can make a big difference. #pregnancy#birth#pregnant#postpartum#postpartummooddisorder
This is #diastasisrecti in the making and 5 years later.
I’m gonna keep it short and sweet cause if you’re a mama you ain’t got time to read a novel.
After I had the twins I didnt take any #postpartum photos. And I don’t think it was because I was horrified by what I saw. Having two preemies in the NICU and a 16 month old at home keeps ya kinda busy. Honestly the photo didn’t cross my mind. Looking back, I wish I did.
I wish I took more before photos.
Things changed when I no longer knew the body I was living in.
When my back felt like it was going to give out trying to hold my babies, granted I had three, but that was not going to be an excuse.
The world has enough cheerleaders.
I’m not going to put anymore pressure on you. God knows we do enough of that to ourselves.
But I do expect more from you when it comes to taking care of YOU.
Don’t tell me you don’t have time. Either you find the time or you find yourself five years from now 30lbs heavier laying in the couch asking how you got here.
We all need to be told were doing a good job while being challenged to be our best versions.
My wake up call sounded a little like this...life is never going to get any less busy, you’re a Mom of three kids!! That was my dope slap from MR. TIME (and my loving hubs)
Let your excuses be your reasons 💚✌🏻

These guys are my faves and the ones always in my bag. They're so great for big emotions, which I have so many of right now. #whatsinyourbag
For 2019 I set a resolution to be more grateful. More grateful for everything in my life. For our house that has the original carpet with stains it in, to the molding that is scuffed up and partially chewed because of our dog. To the walls with all their marks and dents. To our kitchen appliances that are from the 90s. To our worn out hand-me-down furniture. To our washer and dryer that may break down at any cycle. To our moldy siding on the side of our house, and to my husband who loves me unconditionally when I have a melt down and point out all of these little things. We may not have the “picture perfect” home that consists of wood floors, extravagant tile, ship lap, and interior decoration. But we have a home. A place to go that makes your heart the warmest it has ever been. And for that I am forever grateful ♥️ #mom#momblogger#momlife#mommy#parenting#parenthood#babies#blog#blogger#mummstheword#postpartum#postpartumjourney
BODY AFTER BABY 💫
Alors pendant 3 mois, je me suis détesté.
Be with someone who is proud of you, someone you can laugh with, someone who listens to you, who treats you well and makes you a priority.

Here we are a couple of weeks into the New Year...a time when so many resolutions come crashing down 🤦🏼♀️ Many of my clients seek me out after they "failed" their New Year's resolution to lose weight and fell off the "diet wagon". Ugh what a not fun way to start a year!! How about instead of continuing to diet in 2019 and feel like a failure (95% of the time diets fail FYI), you approach it with a new outlook and tackle something totally different? Say goodbye diet and hello to your best year yet 👋
Check out this list of 2019 non-diet resolutions and let's go into this year with a fresh perspective on "health" ✨
Learn a new skill - always wanted to snowboard? 🏂 Ski? Play guitar? Ride horses (🙋)? Paddleboard @officialadventuremystic ? Make 2019 the year you do it!
Volunteer - teach someone to read, help save our oceans, deliver meals, clean up a park, do something for someone else and help change the world 🌎
Create art - if you're anything like me you don't have an artistic bone in your body but that doesn't mean you can hit up Pinterest and give a new art project a go or learn to knit or sew 👨🏻🎨
Learn to cook - I'm sure you know how to make those staple meals your family eats and loves over and over again but why not spend 2019 expanding your repertoire? How about one new meal a month? Or try your hand at baking! 🍪🥖🥘
Work on a relationship - Send a letter once a month to your Great Aunt or best friend from college or schedule monthly coffee dates with your neighbor. Perhaps 2019 can be your year of connection? 👭
Commit to body acceptance - find a positive mantra to say to yourself over and over again whenever negative thoughts come in. Make 2019 the year you fall in love with yourself exactly as you are. You just may find you don't miss the diet rollercoaster!🙌

This is the face of a VERY proud mama. This perfect peanut breastfed like a CHAMP this morning. 🏆 Cue all the oxytocin feels. 🥰 People always say ‘keep trying.’ It’s the hardest thing to do but really the only thing that works. I’ve been pre-pumping to start my letdown so she’s not as fussy, and I think it’s helping. Plus it’s a weekday and she definitely does better with a routine. 😂 #typeAbaby Feeling so so blessed this morning. Breastfeeding is a tough journey but when it’s good, it’s amazing.
Back moves for today
No one tells you that with baby comes back pain as well😅
Even though I love the most to make your booty bigger I really want you to build your whole body more strong.
So here we are:
1️⃣ Cable rear delt row
2️⃣ Cable back row
4 sets x 12 reps. Each set increase the weight💁🏼♀️ Enjoy and happy Tuesday xx

~DIASTASIS RECTI RECOVERY PROGRESS~
This mama had a 6 finger gap! #Doctors/ #surgeons would tell you that the only way to close this gap is through surgery.
DM me for your #Bengkungbellywrap!
Look at her amazing progress. She went from a 6 finger separation to a 2 finger separation by binding her abdomen daily, specific diastasis recti breathing techniques/ #exercises along with great #nutrition!
#bengkungbellywrapbinding is the art of wrapping a #postpartum wombman's belly for physical support and to help recover faster after childbirth. A long strip of cloth is used to wrap around around the abdomen from the hips to the ribcage. Idealistically, wombmen should be wrapped on day five postpartum. The #bellybind should be worn daily for 8 hours a day for at least 40 days or longer.
Wombmen who use a belly bind after birth return to their own pre-pregnancy size in 4-6 weeks! If you've had a #cesarean, wait at least 6 weeks until the #incision is mostly healed before you are wrapped. You do not have to be a postpartum #mama to benefit from this traditional practice. If you have diastasis recti, this is beneficial no matter how long ago you've given #birth.
👐🏾Provides postural support for the torso and organs as they return to #prepregnancy position
👐🏾Supports and assists #abdominalwall healing and diastasis recti recovery. During #pregnancy, the growing #uterus stretches the muscles in the abdomen. This can cause the two large parallel bands of muscles that meet in the middle of the #abdomen to separate — a condition called diastasis recti or #diastasis
recti abdominis. The Malaysian technique of Bengkung binding is helpful in bringing those bands of muscles back together in order for the #LineaAlba, or connective tissue, to strengthen and support the #muscles more effectively.
👐🏾Supports the body's natural #spine and posture realignment post birth
👐🏾Constant pressure on the torso and abdomen hastens healing by reducing #water, fat and air in the tissue and cells
👐🏾Stabilizes loose ligaments
👐🏾Helps to prevent and relieve lower #backaches and strains
👐🏾Prevents slouching while feeding
This side gig of mine can be a crazy thing! I’ve seen women on my team share about paying off student loan debt, making car payments, paying for weddings, saving for maternity leave...you name it. They have changed not only the lives of those they’re helping, but they’re own lives too.
Me? I’m not quite at that level. But that concert we went to the other night? We were able to stay in a hotel that night and pay for it with coaching money. I am able to purchase my shakes and liquid sunshine each month with my coaching income. Not to mention, my DISCOUNT I get 😀 And I am able to have a little money each month for me- my husband is a CPA, so for me that is HUGE (he’s a little cheap lol). -
I have big dreams and goals for myself this year and plan to be able to share of more things this coaching gig does for me. Want in on those plans and goals and to have your own? Comment or message me and we can chat! -
This post is for people who aren’t satisfied with the monotony of life. People who have realized that they’ve confirmed to live a life that was planned for them not what they envisioned for themselves. .
People who want freedom, who want to take control of their life and plan. .
People who are actually looking for an opportunity but don’t have the necessary funds and don’t know where to start.
You can have a traditional 9-5 job then do your life’s work afterwards. You can work on your freedom, on elevating your mind and lifestyle until your life’s work surpasses your job. .
You can work on making a difference in someone else’s life, having an impact in the world, have fun while doing it, take care of your family AND better yourself while your at it. If you work on your purpose the money will chase you and you will earn the freedom to enjoy your life’s work. .
. The freedom that only 1-3% of society dares to dream about and work towards. .
Truth is not everyone is unhappy with their 9-5 lifestyle. Many people love the what they do and shouldn’t be put down for doing what makes them happy.

I'm so glad that mums are now posting their reality after child birth. No more magical snap back😂😂.
❤🍼5 weeks Postpartum!! 🍼❤ No snap back here ladies 😂 just stretch marks, 5 finger diastasis, and a heart full of love 😍. After 5 weeks, I still look 4 months pregnant and i'm still a bit sore from 2 ecv's and an emergency c-section. I have been eating well and will be starting physio soon once I get the all clear from the GP. Women are amazing and everyone recovers differrently from their unique delivery experience, what matters most is that cute little face that we get to call our own ❤❤ .
This is postpartum. ❤️
Most of my 22 year girl friends are about to be sporting bikinis on spring break weighing 100 pounds. Here I am, biggest I’ve ever been with my stomach mapped in tiger stripes from the past 7 months of carrying Sela & I’ve TRULY never been happier. 🥰I decided to share this for the mom who looks at Instagram models “bounce back” so quickly and “get there body back.” For the girls who sit and judge moms when they’ve never been through something like this. The truth is, we never lose our bodies and you haven’t lost yours. It may have battle scars, be a little more squishy...but it’s still your body. It always will be. I have a baby bump still and I have no baby inside of me. 🤷🏼♀️ I’ve decided to change my perspective this year. Instead of trying to get something back, I’m thanking my body for all it’s been through by taking care of it and making better choices. Instead of eating celery to get skinny, I eat celery to say thank you. I almost lost my body and my baby a couple months ago....but we’re here and we are alive and healthy. And for that, I’m saying thank you. I hope you tell your body thank you too. ❤️ Your body is not ruined. You’re just a tiger who earned her stripes. 🐯 #postpartum
I stare at myself from side to side and and I’m confident here in my bedroom....then I leave the house .
I see a girl who looks how I used to look. I get a twinge of jealousy. I want to be able to “show off” to flaunt my curves then I touch my soft belly and I’m reminded I don’t look how I use to, that I will never look the same again. In that moment I have two choices, fall into self pity or be positive. It’s a mental battle to CHOOSE to be positive, to take this moment and tell myself no, you are not who you once were, you are better and more beautiful. .
I don’t always see my stretch marks as beautiful. I was so in love with my body before, how my curves looked and the smoothness of my skin. Now my belly is saggy, squishy, and multiple colors. I hate that I have to wear spanks to keep my belly up so it doesn’t fold over my incision, I hate that I have that excess skin. My heart knows I created the most beautiful miracle and I wouldn’t change a thing but my mind battles to accept my new body. .
I love who I am but I am flawed. I cannot always find the strength within to love my shape. I hold Alice in my arms and I see how beautiful and precious she is. She is innocent and pure and realize I need to be strong for her. That I cannot allow myself to feel shame, to sit in defeat, or be pitted. Because of her I find strength to fight my mental battles and tell myself I am enough, I am beautiful. For her I will be stronger, I will CHOOSE to love myself as I am and push to be better.

I wish I could be a little baby again where I could just take a long nap and everyone would be proud of me 😜
Evie has been the best napper ever since we got the @dockatotausnz. We took it to the Cook Islands with us where, clearly, she was living her best life 🙌 It’s such a great product because it stops the newborn startle reflex and keeps those squirmy babes feeling safe, cosy and napping for longer.

Good luck 😘
Personally, I think the postpartum journey is harder than the pregnancy journey, anyone else? 🙋🏼♀️
I’d say it’s 75% mental battles and 25% physical obstacles
Mental battles 👉 We are so ready to get out pre-baby bodies back and are in such a rush that we tend to forget that it took 9 months to grow our sweet baby. We are hard on ourselves and compare to everyone else out there. With my first pregnancy, it took me about 10 months PP to “get my body back” and finally feel like myself again. This time around, I still have a little to go but I am bouncing back faster. I’m physically and mentally stronger. I don’t care how my body looks. Stretch marks, yep I got em. Do I care? I’d be lying if I said I don’t care a little bit. BUT it’s not getting me down like the last time. Then there’s depression. Guilt. Stress. Anxiety. Sleep deprivation. Hormones. All things no one prepares you for. The emotional toll it takes on you is overwhelming!
Physical Obstacles 👉 as runners or fitness enthusiasts, we want to jump right back into things and be where we were prior to becoming pregnant. We want our old paces back, distances, PR’s, etc and we want them back ASAP. We get frustrated with things like pelvic pain, incontinence, back pain, slow paces, and lack of endurance
There’s this pressure from society to bounce back fast. Don’t give in to that. Be patient with your body. Be patient with your paces and distance
Work hard because YOU want to work hard NOT because you feel you HAVE to. I’ve been running a lot and working hard because I want to and not at all because I feel that’s what’s expected of me. And with that mindset I’m in SUCH a better place mentally this time postpartum compared to my first postpartum journey
Be kind to yourself. Be patient with yourself. Love your tiger stripes and don’t wish them away. Always know you aren’t alone and speak out of you are struggling 💕

2 weeks postpartum! 👋🏼
It’s been one week since I joined the test group for our new nutrition certification using the containers (peep my stories) and I’m SO GRATEFUL I got asked to because my issue has always been not eating enough!! 🍓
I have also found that in my groups that’s the biggest complaint. “How do I eat all this food!?!” As a coach my biggest hurdle is helping women understand clean fuel is GOOD for your body and you need to eat if you want results! Not starve yourself! 🥑
Fat is good!
Carbs won’t make you fat.
Yes, you have to eat all your veggies.
Fruit isn’t bad for you!
With all the diet trends it’s hard to help people trust the food they are eating. Clean whole foods and power packed micronutrients are pure fuel and the more you nourish your body the happier it’ll be! When I started focusing on my insides and making the investments to put the best inside, I started to like what I saw on the outside! 🌿❤️
P.s I’m down 7lbs since coming home from the hospital eating over 2000 calories a day and tomorrow I’m going to go on my first walk, yay!! 🤸🏼♀️ #babysteps#postpartumbody
