I’ve been toying with the idea for a bit to do more posters, at least in a limited capacity.
I’ve always loved vintage posters, mid century and 60’s travel posters especially.
However, I have mostly done music events or a one off events here and there. Usually those have been collaborative or very limited, and I want to broaden that a little.
I’m still fleshing out pieces in my head for a weird combo of posters for pop culture and historical events that are illustration heavy, and am messing with those ideas.
In between those ideas I’ve been illustrating a few musical moments to try and keep some kind of semblance of it fresh in my head.
We’ll see how that goes, sometimes it backfires.
This was one I have been working on, it’s still a little #WIP at the moment. Bowie’s birthday and anniversary of his death have just passed, and I had been needing something/someone to keep my busy and loose for other incoming work and ideas. I figured a tribute to the Starman as Ziggy Stardust’s introduction to the world might be fitting as a “musical event.”
Anyway, here it is so far. I will be sure to post if anything is added. I know a few of you have expressed interest in a Bowie poster of some sort, so here’s what I got from that.
Hope everyone is well!
Make it count!

I normally don’t sign digitally reproduced prints but I personally know the recipient, and their continuous support has always meant a lot.
‘R’, formerly over one hundred rated ‘R’ labels
NOT FOR SALE YET - 16x20, framed
This one is very near and dear to me, and is a piece I’ve been planning and scheming to make for years. I’ve been saving the ‘Rated R’ tags from every One Sheet I’ve made over the past six years, and finally accumulated enough to make this.
Currently not for sale, BUT, you can get a look at it at The Horror Show, starting tomorrow at @thehandsomedaughter
