I don’t think it is possible to fully understand the meaning of your religion until you have tried to understand the religions of others and people whose beliefs are different from yours. Gaining perspectives, especially the perspectives you don’t already possess, is the only way you could understand anything in this world completely. Be it the things that you love or the things that scare you, they are all worthy of a place in your heart and respect.
This sacred place of worship is situated on a fishing village built on water surrounded by vertical limestone peaks. “Ko Panyi” was established in the 18th century when land ownership was limited solely to people of Thai national origins. As the Malay settlement grew and land purchase became possible, this mosque was the first structure built on the island.
I am not the greatest fan of modern art, but the view from the terraces of the Centre Pompidou is well worth a visit... ❤️
PS: I will soon post some pictures of artworks I fell in love with, modern or not!

Everyday there is something that might annoy you and to be honest, everyone has a “it’s not my day” kind of day! But what we’ve learnt a lot during our trip is that, it probably won’t matter tomorrow or probably won’t even matter in an hour or so. Even we have found that it’s so easy to get worked up by little things but life really is too short. So enjoy every moment & don’t take life too seriously! You never know, your smile could make a such a difference to someone’s day 🙌🏼 •
As much as I rave about a lot of cities, I don't love *every* place I visit. Some places just don't tick the right boxes but I usually don't mention them because I hate being negative. However we've been *insanely* lucky lately and we've had a REALLY good run -- and that includes Riga 😍. I fell in love with the cafés, architecture and museums, the food markets and coffee and general laidback-ness ☕
North eastern Europe is quickly becoming my fav part to be. Scandinavia and the Baltics are my happy places. What are you fav places in Europe? 🌍
