Usually sold in bunches of 10 (but some florists may vary), Dahlia stems are usually super straight and can reach up to 60cm in length.
I’m v. sad to report that Dahilas have a relatively short vase-life – only lasting around 5-8 days, even if you care for them properly.
Like me on the Vline after a night on the sesh, Dahlias do not travel well and need to be hydrated at all times. So, it’s best that you buy them when you’re ready to get them home into a vase. I wouldn’t really suggest these as a gift option, unless you are giving them in a water source.
Once you get them home, it’s pretty standard conditioning – cut on an angle and add flower food to the water and keep an eye on the water levels as they drink fast!
