"Over the past few months, I’ve had a lot of time. Time to spend in nature. Time to think. Time to read. Time to really be with my family. Time to be vulnerable and open my mind and heart to strangers and new experiences. I posted on social media a lot but I stopped consuming it as much (mere fact of not ever having wifi or phone service). I didn’t spend 12 hours a day on my laptop and because of that I really didn’t read as much news, as many headlines, as many articles, etc. I may have lost connection to what exactly is happening but I think what I regained was a sense of enchantment with the world. I met so many good people from all over the world. I sat on so many gorgeous beaches, hiked up so many awe-inspiring mountains, watched loads and loads of stunning sunrises and sunsets. I swam in the ocean more in one year than I have in my entire life. I ate a lot of delicious food. I slept a lot. I walked around a lot of different cities and realized we’re a lot more alike than we are different."...some reflections from the past few months on the blog today 💕
