I'm Abigail Ware - a food and product photographer from Nashville, TN. I'm graduating with my degree in photography in May, and thus will be the beginning of my photography business - Abigail Ware Photography :D I hope you follow along in this journey with me! It will be one of trying my best and growth lol. I'm new to this having-my-own-business thing, but hey, I'm learning more everyday :) I'm very excited about it!

This 3D logo sign that we custom made for Chelsea Rossi Photography is small but mighty, that’s for sure!!! I’m so glad that we had the opportunity to be pushed a little outside our comfort zone on this order. And we are definitely loving these bright colors, especially with spring arriving!
This sign was completely handmade from the shiplap backer, frame, to the 3D wooden cut outs to the hand painted floral pieces.
WHAT IS A BRAND IDENTITY?
The Logo, the Branding Manual and the Business Cards are the keystones, the foundations, but what else goes along with it? The best answer i have to this question was found on the book Work for Money, Design for Love by David Airey.
"Your Brand is you. It's how others see you. Your brand identity is the language you use, the smile in your voice when you answer the phone, the voicemail message you record, how you talk about other businesses and people, the sign on your door, the company car you drive, the way you dress, the copy on your website, your website's ease of use, and it's the promises you make (and keep, because when you tell a client you'll do something, you need to to everything you can to deliver)."
So, what should you take away from this? Whenever you are delivering a Branding Project to your client, it's awesome if you deliver beautiful graphical elements, but you know what's the icing on the cake? If you educate them. Tell them how much it matters the way they present yourselves. Analyse their competition and show them how they can they can position themselves on a higher value way.
In my opinion, this is what separates a Good Identity Designer from a Great Identity Designer 👌

I created this modern brand mark for two of the sweetest folks I have ever worked with @jordanandalaina! They're a ridiculously talented husband and wife photography duo; therefore, I wanted to infuse their initials together in a beautiful, harmonious way.
Brand marks are small, but mighty. They add variety and depth to your brand immersing your clients in a more diverse, memorable, and pampered brand experience! I create them for EVERY brand I make because they are so very important!

Nuno is a very talented photographer i had the pleasure to meet a couple of months ago. When he asked me to create his logo, he mentioned how he wanted the brand to feel personal, genuine and non-corporate. He also wanted his logo to convey photography on a subtle way 📷
With the start of the new year, i wanted to try new challenges so i explored not only marks but also a couple of typographic options, here's their meaning:
1. N + Camera Focus
2. Nuno Melo + Camera
3. N + M + Film
4. N + Camera Focus
5. Nuno + Camera
The client preferred 1 and 6, i am leaning towards 5... Can you help us decide which one is the better? 🤔

KELVIN BETANCOURT PHOTOGRAPHY™
Recently got contacted to develop a Logotype for a photography company that focuses on Headshot Photography 📸
After creating several concepts and discussing them with Kevin, we boiled them down to these two since it’s the ones that convey a high-end service the most!
Now, I am leaning towards the left one because of it’s simplicity while Kelvin prefers the right one because it conveys the message on a more clear way...
