I’ve certainly done some damage over the holidays. Don’t get me wrong - it’s been fun!!! But now I feel sluggish, my skin is patchy, I have dark circles under my eyes and can’t breathe in my jeans 😱😱😱
I’m starting my 30days journey on 4th Feb but I’m so keen to feel better that I am easing myself into it now: cutting out alcohol and sugar for now so the withdrawals won’t hit me so hard when I’m fully committing to the plan - can’t wait to feel amazing again 🤗🎉
Why are progression and regularity important in building an effective fitness program ?
When a person wants to begin an exercise program there are some points that should be considered, such as medical records, if needed. moreover, the goals of the exercise program should be stated, as it helps with the schedule and timing of the program.
the principle of progression is important because it is what makes muscle growing, as the muscle adapts to the level of intensity of the exercise. it is important to follow this principle as after some weeks of an exercise program if nothing changes, the muscle adapts to the new situation and new muscle mass does not appear.
Two ways in which progression can be applied to fitness programs are an arbitrary progression and the autoregulatory progressive resistance exercise. The first one is just simply an adding a pre-determined amount of weight from week to week. The second one is a technique in which you would increase the load for the following weekly directly proportional to the plus set. ---
The four principles of fitness are:
1. Overload Principle 2. Specificity Principle 3. Individuality Principle 4. Reversibility Principle- "Use it or lose it". These principles must be followed in order to achieve the maximum benefit possible from the exercise plan.
Be educated in the fitness principles is important for the health as it allowed people to exercise in order to achieve the best result possible, without making mistakes that could possibly hurt themselves in serious ways. It is important because it helps maintain an optimal health.
Feeling uncomfortable in your body is just that, uncomfortable.

There’s a fine line, and I definitely crossed it. To be honest, it was embarrassing for me. I was emotionally eating, eating when I was bored, eating until I was painfully full.
I’ve been there, I GET IT. It affects more than just the way you look. It affects your relationships, your mood, your mental state, and how you feel about yourself.
I’m proud of myself. For putting in the work, for being patient, for not making excuses to stay the same.

Mas vamos aprender a manipular a amplitude de maneira inteligente?
O uso de steps só se justifica quando o (a) executante tem flexibilidade suficiente para descer mais, mas os pesos já trocaram o chão.
Portanto, se você não é tão flexível assim ou está iniciando nesse exercício, o uso das plataformas é desnecessário e até perigoso.
