Back in a very, very happy place. Headroom and Permutation 57 on tap absolutely melt the mind.

As Brewed Stronger continues to grow I'm finding more and more homebrewers that also crush it in the gym.
@jwbrewing started out like many of us homebrewers, crafting beers from a Mr. Beer Kit that was gifted to him from his wife. Today, he runs J. Wakefield brewing, producing some of the best beers in the world.
John is also a crossfit enthusiast, balancing his love of pints and iron. If you're in the Miami area, check out @jwakefieldbeer. John Wakefield is Brewed Stronger.
Really fantastic first flight this weekend at @hiddenspringsaleworks. Super impressed by the imperial stout with vanilla and hazelnut. Riot Juice was my favorite though...still, the color on the blue raspberry Berliner?? 😁
Not my greatest photography ever, but believe me this meatball taco from @jackofcupssaloon in Folly Beach, SC was next level. This place looks like a dive bar but dishes out korma curry and ramen, not to mention the killer beer selection (pictured: Noodles rice lager from @bfsbeer ). A must-try if you're in the area.
Oh god an epic drop from @4quartersbrew!
Big umbrella: 8% abv, sour ale brewed with toasted coconut and pineapples. First few sips brings out pineapples, pungent lemon sourness, hints of coconuts and a slight boozy finish. 4packs/$19.99.
Double Comet: 8% abv, Double IPA brewed with comet hops. I had this beer a few months back up in Vermont and I’m glad my wishes have been fulfilled of this being distro’d to Boston. I love the nose on this, brings out plenty of dank and pineapples. Creamy mouthfeel with a great combo taste of blueberries, pineapples, oranges and grapefruits. Some grassy undertones come through midway but this overall drinks smooth and subtle bitterness on the finish. 4packs/$20.99
Flood of sunshine: 7.5% abv, witbier brewed with orange, mango and raspberries. Quite tart upfront with notes of grapefruits, oranges and hints of raspberries. Crisp mouthfeel with a dry finish. You don’t see too many witbier like this shooting a 4.35 on Untappd. Get your 4pack for $17.99.
Sundog: 8% abv, Double IPA brewed with citra and Amarillo hops. Aromas of stone fruits, pineapples, herbs and pine. Taste notes of grapefruits, lemons, soft peaches and bready malts. Mouthfeel is dry and has a nice bitterness on the finish. 4packs/$20.99
Omnipollo Noa Hazelnut Cupcake is the third version of ‘Noa’ we have had after the regular and bourbon versions and how can you go wrong with this...? Off course the first thought is to put this next to the regular Noa Pecan Mudcake and taste the differences but hey, you can’t always have Noa Pecan Mudcake present. Besides that it gave us the chance to enjoy the beer fully for what it is and not having to think which one is better. Noa Hazelnut Cupcake obviously has a lot of similarities with the regular Noa in that it is dark syrupy caramel coffee and vanilla goodness. According to Omnipollo it has been bourbon barrel aged and ‘post barrel treated’ and that gives this version its distinct more nutty taste. We absolutely loved this version as it perfectly balances the sweetness and nutty praline flavor without tasting any alcohol. The guys at Omnipollo (and De Molen where it’s brewed) are absolute wizards at creating dark pastry stouts. By now you have to check all the versions that come out. Obviously it’s nice to compare them but maybe it’s even better to sit back and relax and fully enjoy the taste explosion that will hit you without the stress of comparing. This was the ideal dessert to a wonderful bbq and the end to a perfect day. Magic!

@treehousebrewco Single shot W/ Brazil cerrado coffee .
I love coffee, i love beer... What more could i ask for! The beer pours with no head, any bubbles that did form were very dark brown. Its a very deep brown/cola colour rather than black, very noticeable around the edges but no light passes through the beer. Lots of floaties poured out but doesnt put me off. The aroma is exploding with marshmallows, unroasted fresh coffee, raisins/dates, caramel, dark & milk chocolate. Lovely thick mouthfeel, taste is lots of chocolate, powered chocolate, roasted malts, cold brew coffee, molasses, dark fruit, hints of popcorn and fresh flaked pastry. Tbh im not really the biggest fan of stouts, i dont tend to seek them out but i really enjoyed this! Thanks @mchlrysnds for the can.
