Tomorrow is the first day of fall. Ai havey spiced pumpkin candle with cheap dollar store decorations. Tonight I scrolled thru pictures from this beautiful summer and I found this one. My son seeing the ocean for the first time. Holding hands with his “Dude”. A surfer in the background. A healthy toddler with his chinos rolled up wearing a Hawaiian shirt. In our new country 🇨🇦 (not pictured is Matt who is chasing Chief down the beach because we let him off of his leash entirely too soon. Life is good. VERY good y’all.
I keep going back to this image frequently - it was so surreal flying over Iceland (all for a detour), and being so awed by the sight - I never quite expected to see something like this. And it brings so many good thoughts and positivity that I associate this journey with. In short, this is the kind of blue that drives the other blues away.
A pure haven of peace and quiet. Worth it to climb the more than 500 stairs up to this beautiful temple in the middle of wonderful nature. There are signs with buddhist sayings all along the way that are interesting and thought provoking.
According to me, the Louvre Pyramid is the most photogenic place in Paris 🇫🇷
The Louvre pyramid was designed by a Chinese-American architect (that’s probably why there are so many Asian and American around it 😉) and was completed in 1989!
