Hope these colours put a smile on yo' faces this monday afternoon 😁
The famous Cube Houses in #Rotterdam were designed by architect Piet Blom based on the concept of "living as an urban roof." Our 3rd day in the Netherlands is up in our Stories @roomfortwoplease. We continue with Rotterdam then head to the #Kinderdijk Windmills and #Gouda before retiring in Otterlo. Do check 'em out!

***New Blog*** my Prague blog is now live 👍🏻 One Of Europe’s most prettiest cities 💖 Link to my blog is in my bio, enjoy 😊
What does really matter?
After all, why at all commit time, attention and energy to things that don’t matter to us? That don’t matter at all? Are we forced to do it? Or is it simply because we’ve not decided what really mattered? Our time is limited and we theoretically decide how to use it at every moment. However, what we practically do is
hand the decision over. Said differently, we’re choosing amongst the options presented to us. This or that product in the store, this or that item on the menu, this or that job on the board, this or that video on Youtube. This is enough to overload our brain and give us the illusion of choice. What’s ironic is that there are good
reasons to think that it would be quite easy to predict our choices in those situations.
The master options are not made easy for us to see, and we’re often not strong enough to ditch the slave ones. Hey, the slave ones have to be taken by someone. So, that’s our first choice. We have to choose what kind of decisions we want
to focus on. Like, (1) which product are we gonna use to clean the toilets, (2) what toilet cleaning product the market needs, (3) what should be the toilet UX for the years to come?
Often, as I open my laptop or my smartphone I feel like a slave, because I don’t know where I’m going. I’m giving my attention away, to someone
who seems to know better what really matters in the grand scheme of things
🇭🇺 One can easily plunge into the relaxed way of life in Budapest. It is no longer a secret that the city has it as spa city in Europe.
More than 118 thermal spring resources in Budapest alone and Széchenyi is just among one of the most well-known.
Photography is more than just taking pictures. It's the idea that I can capture an experience and all the feelings that came with it.
A picture can be replicated, but you can't really recreate the beautiful intricacies of a moment.
If you're ever in Santa Monica I suggest riding a bike to Venice Beach. I did it a couple of times on my trip. 🌴🚲 .

Brb just trying to figure out how I could have a front door like this one day! These are the famous golden gates at the Palais Royals in Fes, they’re made of brass and they are washed every single week with a small brush and lemon water. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My awesome fanny pack (I don’t care what anyone says, fanny’s are RAD) is from @fawndesign & I have it in three colors because it rocks. Rest of the outfit is from Target!

Officially missing the clear blue waters and warm breeze zipping through my hair. I’m back in Baltimore with the crisp bite of winter and doing a huge ‘ho hum’. But also feeling super blessed to be able to experience the inaugural sailing for @royalcaribbean’s #SymphonyOfTheSeas (aka the largest ship in the world). If you missed my fun, don’t worry I’ve added it to my highlights under my bio (go watch now). _____________________________________
I’ll also have a video and blog post up for you guys in a few. But for now, can we observe all the courage I mustered up to stand (& pose) 17 stories up on this ship with nothing but glass between me and that gorgeous ocean. Let’s throw some ✊🏾 👸🏾 in the comments if you’re proud of me cause I was terrified to stand there! #travelgorgeous#royalwow#comeseek#royalcarribean#cruisegram

are you ever getting tired of social media?
posting, sharing or browsing, looking?
i used to fall for beautiful pictures before, but now i feel like i need more connection with the person on the other side of the screen: more stories, more lives, more actual human beings and less perfectly retouched photos.
do you feel the same?
share your thoughts, i'd love to hear what your feelings about that are! .
And I woke up in Aruba ☀️ Thank you to @hiltonaruba for our amazing stay on the One Happy Island! Make sure to follow along on stories to see all of your fun adventures!

Limestone cliffs towering overhead and sun flares bursting through the peaks as we paddled in the peaceful cove far away from the other larger boats in Halong Bay
