Instead of posting a #10yearchallenge I’m going to post about what I envision in 10 years from now. Pasquale and I would be celebrating 18 years together. Hopefully there would be a little Pasqualino or two in the mix 👶 and we would be travelling the world as a family. I would be a senior journalist working on important international stories either living in Canada or somewhere in Europe. Or I would be back at the United Nations working on meaningful advocacy issues. We would be surrounded by family and friends, and we would have a vacation home in Italy 😏 I’ve always been an advocate of writing down goals. I find they’re more likely to come to fruition when you put them out into the universe ✨So here’s to dreaming and working hard 🥂 How do you envision your life 10 years from now?
Tonight on the City Hall beat, I’m sponging WiFi from the old Bulletin building-turned city office to finish edits on a story that took a surprising late-night twist and hoping no one gets suspicious about why I’m idling with screens on. #partylikeajournalist
Please raise a glass to my super hot wife @mendra2 — the best journalist I have ever met (sorry I’m not sorry Woodward, Bernstein and Hunter S. Thompson). Mendra captured the 2018 Record Newsroom Employee of the Year award today! Happy and proud, but not at all surprised. #partylikeajournalist (📷 = @bobhighfill)
Anyone else constantly pick out all the negative things about themselves?! 👋🏼 It took me like 20 tries to take this picture today because in my mind my arms looked big, you could see my double chin and chunky cheeks 😣 I for the life of me could not point out one “nice” thing. How can I encourage other women to love themselves and find joy in the process when I struggle with this everyday?! So I immediately turned my mindset around. Today I am strong because I fought through a tough workout. 💦 I cheered my ladies on who are doing this alongside me. 👏🏼 And what do I love about myself today? 💓 I see this picture and love my eyes because I think it shows I am fired up and inspired I am today. 🔥 This is a process and I’m going to find so much joy in the journey and those victories along the way. .
Feeling extra grateful today for your constant encouragement and support as I grow in my TV news career 🙏
To my family:
Thank you for giving me the world.
To my dear friends:
Thank you for always being my voices of reason, the late night talks and the endless laughs whenever I need them.
To my mentors and professors:
Thank you for teaching me everything I know.
To Chief Pilot Mark Robinson:
Thank you for agreeing to do an interview and introducing me to aviation. I was a young freshmen at the time who just switched from being a bio major to literary journalism.

This time last year I committed 100% to a workout program and had the most incredible results ever. 🙌🏼
NOW I’m getting ready for another physical AND mental transformation. And to be completely transparent with you I’m starting in a place that I’m so not happy with. Taking my before pictures, my measurements, weighing myself - this was TOUGH. I did not like what I saw and every single negative though kept popping in my head. I felt like a failure for getting to this point & I felt physically and mentally weak.
Committing yourself to something isn’t easy but I’m doing this for me AND for you because I want to show you what’s possible when you go all in with all of your heart. 6 weeks, 20 minutes a day, 6 days a week. Shifting my negative thoughts to positive ones. Changing the way I view food. Giving my ALL for those 20 minutes a day. .
I cannot wait to prove to you and myself what’s possible. It all starts tomorrow 💓👏🏼✨ Let’s do this!!!
Tonight is a bittersweet night for me. My family and many of my friends already know this, but it's time to share with you guys here. Tonight is my last night as weekend anchor for KIMA/KEPR Action News.
However, I'm not leaving Action News. Instead, I'm actually moving to weekday mornings as morning co-anchor/weather anchor.
I'm really excited about the transition to a new show, as well as the challenge of forecasting for the Yakima/Tri-Cities regions, but I will definitely miss being your source for news on the weekends.
So grab a cup and wake up with KIMA/KEPR from 5-7 A.M.! It's going to be a good time. See you on Monday!

Today I went to a place I’ve never been and willingly walked into a room of 200+ people I didn’t know on my day off. Normally doing something like this would have given me a pit in my stomach the whole time but I felt just flat out excited and ready to learn!!! 🤓📓✏️ .
Our quarterly coaching event happens all over the country! 🌎 So while all of my Pittsburgh girlies were together I was holding down the fort here in Maine! 📍
We learned about new programs coming out this year, wisdom and knowledge from other coaches, AND that next year our company is taking us to Punta Cana for hitting goals!!! 🌴☀️🌊 **AND** our new coaches can earn this trip too. It’s pretty simple. I help you help people. 👭❤️ Then we get to go vacation together 👏🏼 Sounds pretty dang sweet huh?! .
Mentoring 5 ladies this month who want to get in the best shape of your life & help others do the same!! Lots of exciting things coming this year like earning prizes, vacations, and financial freedom 🙌🏼💲
Sound good? Let’s chat! 💋📲
