Soaking up that winter sun ☀️☀️☀️
First time the sun came out since I moved here! Went to work super early so that I had time to run & explore the area before it got dark and it totally paid off #priorities ☺️ Never thought I’d enjoy living in the middle of nowhere this quickly 🙈
I’d say the last 10 years have been kind to me. I’ve gained a wife, son, our own house and ditched the car for 3 bicycles 😂 Other than the cancer part, it has been ace! That year of my life has shown me what is truly important and for that I’m forever grateful! Here’s to another 10 years! 🚴🏻♂️🤘🏻
Look up every once in a while. I think we get tangled pretty easily with our daily routine. It’s easy to get stuck in a cycle and sometimes we lose sight on what’s important. I think it’s crucial to change the way we perceive things on a consistent basis. When you realize that by changing your perspective, big things will eventually become little things and it becomes much harder to worry about anything.
You can make someone very happy! Here’s the deal: nominate a friend in a reaction on this post and say why you want him/her to win a great prize (or let your friend nominate you 😉). The prize is a free 4-day racepass-package (value €600,-/CHF 690,-) for the Snowbike Festival in Gstaad Switzerland (24-27 January 2019). The biggest challenges are to get in Gstaad and to survive the race 👍🏼. But the experience will be glorious. Included in the racepass-package are: rider accreditation, 4-day participation, lunch and dinner, finisher medal, a rider gift-pack and more. Doesn’t that sound great? Life is what you make it. Check this link www.ablocbeer.com/rides/snowbikerace-gstaad/ for the complete package and terms. See you in Gstaad! #LifeIsWhatYouMakeIt#SnowBikeFestival19 📷 @snowbikefestival / Wayne Reiche | #aBLOC
I'm gonna do you one better than the #tenyearchallenge and show you the day that Gravel Tryhard was born. (they called her the Tricycle Tryhard back then, obviously.)

It’s amazing to me that scenes like this happen in nature everyday. During this sunrise, light filtered through the trees making brilliant sun rays. In a 360 degree vista, this scene took up maybe 2% of the view and lasted only a few minutes. Just a little reminder to slow down and enjoy these fleeting moments.
Final push on our highest Turkish pass before entering İran.
Bye bye Turkey.. 3 months of wanderful journey and such friendsliness. Thumbs up to the Turkish people.. A peaceful transition into the Middleeast for sure.
