Dealing with Body Acne?
- If you get acne and plugged pores/follicles on the body, tight clothing, especially tight jeans will make it worse.
- Try GENTLY using an acne cleanser in the shower with a light loofah on your body. Change the loofah every month or so.
- Use a lotion daily that has an alpha or beta hydroxy acid in it that’s about 10%. This helps keep the pores unplugged. Like as Loshall ourstylefashion.com/pages/loshallscar
- DON’T PICK!! Even if you’re dying to. It makes the marks after it heals worse!
See your doctor if you don’t see improvement in about month.
The above takes about 4 weeks to see results.
Hope this helps,

GLASS ONLY PLEASE! A big reason why we only use glass in our saunas and yoga studios is because plastic contains BPA (bisphenol A) and DEHA (a known carcinogen) 😝 When plastic is heated it leaches its component chemicals out into the water! Pick up one of our @somawater X @sweatheory glass water bottles for a safe and environmentally friendly way to drink water #healthyissexy

For this reason, nuts have become a favorite among vegetarians, vegans, and other health conscious individuals. In addition to being eaten whole, nuts are often pureed into “butters” and used as a spread or as an ingredient in dips.
In a lunch rut 😣😣😣
#whatsonmyplate 👉🏼👉🏼 Cajun seasoned shrimp + brown rice + black beans + diced tomatoes + avocado + a heart of romaine lettuce. Hot sauce all over 😋 •
Comment 👇🏼👇🏼 you're favorite lunches that keep you filled all day!! Especially if you don't eat a ton of mean and generally save your traditional proteins for dinner!
This is all of my friends favorite meal! They request it every time they come over.

Did you know that Homeopathy can help you achieve a good night’s sleep ?
Being unable to sleep can be one of the most frustrating conditions. People often complain that they feel alone, isolated by their wakefulness when everyone around them is in a deep slumber.
Yet insomnia is very common. Sleep troubles affect 25 per cent of people at some point, and over ten per cent of the adult population have a chronic problem with insomnia.
Insomnia is one of those conditions where there is immense variation in the sort of problem that it causes. There may be difficulty falling asleep, difficulty staying asleep, waking early, or just feeling unrefreshed. And of course, there can be secondary effects, such as daytime fatigue, poor concentration and irritability.
There may be obvious causes of insomnia, such as prostate problems in men, bladder problems, heart failure, hormonal changes and various arthritic or painful conditions. For others there may be more of an underlying psychological causes.
Homeopathy can often make a big difference to insomniacs. The approach is to consider the sleep disturbance as part of the overall clinical picture. There is no such thing as a homeopathic sleep-ing-tablet, just as there is no such thing as a homeopathic painkiller. The well-selected remedy, if it includes the pattern of the sleep disturbance, may solve the problem. Having an awareness of what happens during the sleep cycle can be helpful, in that it might indicate a remedy or group of remedies.
I would suggest using a low potency 6c remedy for self-treatment after working out the pattern of insomnia. Take a dose an hour before bedtime and a dose before turning the lights out, having already worked out a bedtime routine. If necessary take another dose if you wake up in the night.
It is entirely reasonable to try self-treatment for a couple of weeks, but if there has been no improvement then it would be sensible to have an opinion from a homeopath to elucidate the best remedy. ✨
For this year, my 30th year, I've made self-care as a top priority. I've admittedly been quite lax about my health but now I've learned that it doesn't hurt to be proactive in taking care of yourself.
As a #swansonpartner, I am so excited to share with you the newest addition to my daily self-care routine: Swanson Health's Mellow Mag. Magnesium has so many great benefits! It helps reduce stress, supports heart and bone health, and helps me rest easier. Plus, it comes in a yummy Raspberry Lemonade flavor, making my mornings a lot better.

A good night routine doesn't have to break the bank. Drugstore skincare is just as good.

Last month, I went an entire month without eating gluten. It wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be and I did in fact notice a difference!
🍕 Cauliflower pizza is incredible btw.
Based on the results, I am going to severely limit my gluten going forward, but will still indulge occasionally. Remember, flexibility is key. 🔑

5 Things Nutritionist Order at McDonald’s
🌯🥗1. Grilled Chicken Ranch Snack Wrap and a Side Salad. “When the need arises to stop at a McDonald’s, I choose wisely and go for the Grill Chicken Ranch Snack Wrap but I ask them to hold the ranch, then I add a side salad and dress it with a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of pepper, says Maureen Mankoong, MS, RD, manager of fitness and nutrition at EverydayHealth
🥗🍟2. Premium Asian Salad with Grilled Chicken and Kids Fries. “Instead of passing on fries completely, I skip the salad dressing or use fresh lemon juice to dress my salad, and replace those calories with a kid-sized fries for just 110 calories”, says Holly Grainger, RD, and recipe blogger in Birmingham, Alabama.
🍔🥗3. A Hamburger and a Premium Asian Salad. “I would get a hurger and balance out my meal with the salad, the salad add vitamins, minerals, and fiber. I also ask for a jug of 1-percent milk to quench my thirst and add some additional protein, calcium, and vitamin D,” Kelly said.
🍔🥗4. Grilled Onion Cheddar Burger and a Premium Southwest Salad. “This combination is the size of a meal I would make at home. It has 460 calories and around 1/3 of a day’s recommended amount of total far, fiber and sodium.” Sheri Iodice, RD, and dietitian at EverydayHealth said.
🥣🍓5. Fruit and Maple Oatmeal. “Oatmeal is a great spurce of cholesterol-lowering soluble fiber, and this 1 cup serving has just 260 calories and 18 gm of sugar, including fruit, plus 5 gm of protrin and 5 gm of fiber.” Bonnie Taub-Dix, RDN, owner of BetterThanDieting.com added.

Ratatouille by @conscious_cooking 💚 Recipe:⠀
For the base:
2-3 fresh tomatoes, pureed with a pinch of sea salt⠀
2 Tbsp olive oil, divided⠀
3 tsp fresh herbs, finely chopped⠀
1 shallot, finely chopped⠀
1 garlic clove, finely chopped⠀
1 Asian eggplant⠀
1 long, skinny zucchini⠀
1 long, skinny yellow summer squash⠀
20 cherry tomatoes⠀
1⁄2 orange bell pepper, deseeded⠀
Sea salt and pepper •Preheat oven to 400°F. Pour tomato puree, 1 Tablespoon of olive oil and half of⠀
the chopped fresh herbs into a baking dish. Stir in the chopped shallot and garlic.⠀
Season with salt and pepper.⠀
•Using a mandolin, or a really sharp knife, thinly and evenly, slice the vegetables. Make the slices thin, about 1/8’ (3mm) thick. The thinner, the better!⠀
•Make mini-stacks of about 20 slices in sequence. Arrange a few stacks at a time into the prepared baking dish in a concentric spiral from the outer edge to the inside, fanning them out a bit so that you can see the top 1/8” of all the slices. “Stand” them up a little, so you can it as many vegetable slices in as possible, but you may still have some leftover veggies. Save the smaller rounds for the center of the dish.⠀
•Drizzle with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and season with more salt and pepper. Sprinkle the remaining chopped herbs. Cover the dish with a piece of parchment paper cut to it just inside the dish rim, directly on top of the vegetable arrangement.⠀
•Bake for 40 minutes -1 hour (depending on how thick your vegetable slices are), until vegetables are soft, but not limp. Serve this easy, yet impressive dish with pride! Enjoy! #veganfoodspace#veganlunch#lunchideas

Some of you have asked me what I do when I make a raw cake and end up with more quantity than needed. Well, I layer PARFAITS. This one was made using the white chocolate and blueberry cream leftovers from the mini cakes recipe that I posted a few days ago ✌🏻Which one do you prefer? The cake or the parfait? 💜
