Yesterday's story was the Town Musicians of Bremen. (We are running a giveaway on our facebook page till Saturday!)
I love being #outdoors. I think it's easy to spot looking at my grid 😉 My favourite colour is #green and my favourite green outdoor thing is #moss. I love how it covers trees and rocks making them look like comfy sofas or beds. I think the most beautiful moss I ever seen grows in Welsh forests. It's also the greenest. I go back against and again to feast my eyes. This time I took a little bit of Grimm's with my. These beautiful alphabet cards totally deserved resting on beautiful green Welsh moss.
💚💚💚 Grimm's is my favourite #ethicaltoys brand by far. Their makes are not only #ecofriendly, but also #openended which is super important to me. It allows my kiddo's imagination to run free while they are experiencing real beauty. Cards are not s typical Grimm's toys, but I think a lot of you know most of their wooden stuff and I think this is s little gem, that is a bit overlooked 💚💚💚
Joining in #colourmyeveryday#challenge by @adventuresandteaparties and also #ourcolourfulkids challenge organised by @bandarra_ and @colours.and.us which is all about toys 😘😘😘
I will never understand how someone can say truly hurtful things to another, knowingly. You are causing your own problems & discord in every relationship that you can't control WHERE you let your bullshit land.
As someone w/BPD, I know what it's like to feel every feeling more than most can even imagine. Every emotion is felt at a 100× intensity: anger, frustration, joy & even confusion. What people don't understand is that a BPD, especially, cannot just shut off or change their emotions because it seems intense or "not normal".
However, despite feeling more than most, I still try my hardest to never direct my strong emotions, rantings or freak outs right at a person. How?
1.) If you're raising your voice uncontrollably, don't look at the person in the face. This will show them you are trying not to boldly tear them down: the emotions displayed is about YOUR feelings - not their self-image.
2) Don't act like you can change people. Nothing you say or do will actually change a person to be what you want. Don't be the ass-hat that makes the world mold to your way (or the highway). People only change because they truly want to (& are ready).
3) Present open-ended options for solutions - NOT ultimatums. Yes, you need to set your hard boundaries. But if in doing so, the other party has no room to actually meet your standards, you've set the impossible.
4) Don't ever pick on a person's character when you're too angry to stop yourself (or apologize). It's one thing to point out bad behavior, & another to be petty about their not-so-good qualities.
5) Don't inherently blame others for how you feel. You might have a mood disorder, or you're dealing w/a manipulator, but your reactions & emotions are still your own.
Have you seen the bug rockers at @toysbynature ? Clayton has hours of fun with his. He likes to choo choo his trains around but also loves playing shopkeeper and restaurant owner! Lol
Toys by nature are an ethical small business and use child safe paints. They also offer payment plans so it's a win win in my eyes, especially with Christmas drawing closer.
Pop over and show them some love 😍
Was in the zone last night crushed the first table monster stack grinded my way up to 110k average stack at my table was about 25k . Then one of the reasons i hate tournaments happened after 5 hours the table is broken smh... My downfall hand first hand on new table
1200 600 1200 ante
Playing big blind ante tournament 25k guaranteed two day tournament.. I am sitting with about 110k second or third in chips.. in the cutoff i see KhKs. I raise to 4800 small blind(sitting with 60k or so) calls and big blind folds. Flop Qc5s8c.. Small blind bets 5k into me i reraise to 15k.. he thinks about it and calls...turn is the 3s he checks to me and because i could see the stupid look in his face i knew he was drawing to the nuts or with atleast Qx... i push all in he thinks for a minute and calls i show my kk he shows Ac9c... I don't know how he called his remaining stack 50 bb with a draw but he did and i loved it lol.. then of course the river 3c lol!! Sometimes i hate this game 🤷🏽♂️. I cant lie i wanted that call cuz without these calls you never getting chips. I don't think i could of played that hand any better i could of cruised to day two but poker gods wanted me to tell another bad beat story lol!! So I am 0 and 3 in tournaments this year but i can taste a nice cash soon hopefully.. sorry for the long rant... #poker#nlh#allin#poker#gulfstreamcasino#hollywoodflorida#miami#loveofmylife#poker#nolimitholdem#nolimit#nlholdem#greenfelt#breakingeven#poker#pokerface#nuts#nlholdem#holdem#allin#gutshot#openended#flushdraw#nolimit#bigslick#checkraise#daytonapoker
Can I ask for some advice from my followers, customers and friends? I have made these open ended play resources (for pattern making, categorising, lids for pots, blankets for dolls, lily pads, stepping stones... the list is endless!) How would you prefer to buy them? In sets arranged by colour - for example 6 in different shades of blues and greens, 6 in shades of pink and purple and so on... or one larger set of say 12 in rainbow colours? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! 💚 Thanks 💚 #colour#handmade#play#earlyyears#openended#vegan#crochet#customerfeedback#help

Give me all of you.
Not just what the world sees,
But the broken parts you hide so well.
The parts that pull at my heart.
The ones I want to love the most..
