Have you ever had one of those weeks where it seems like the odds are just stacked against you??
For me, that has been this entire week! To say it has be overwhelming is an understatement. Between tests and my phone breaking, my anxiety and wallet need a break. . . Anyone relate?? 🙋🏼♀️
What do you do when you get stressed??
I used to stress eat. BAD! Every time I had a stressful day, I would turn to food. Food and Netflix. I would mindlessly snack as I watched Friends. By the end of the night I was beyond full, and I would go to bed feeling gross. Then the next day I would feel bloated. My skin would start breaking out. And I just felt exhausted.
It’s crazy that we do this to ourselves! It never helps the situation. Ultimately it makes it worse.
I am so thankful that someone presented me with this opportunity. An opportunity to get rid of the bad habits and focus on loving my body and only fueling it with good foods. I found a way to still eat the foods I love in a healthier way. I learned that results don’t come by sitting back; they take hard work. I learned that a community of babes supporting babes is a game changer to staying on track. And I also learned to change my mindset about those negative feelings.
People don’t make you angry - you allow the anger to dwell inside. Circumstances don’t upset you - you allow yourself to get upset. You choose to worry, you choose to criticize, you choose to blame, and you choose to complain. No one else decides this for you. You can’t be moving up if your thoughts are bringing you down!

1. (Top left) Overnight or Instant Oatmeal
Let oats sit in a portable jar overnight. Use milk of choice. Add already cut up fruit and cinnamon to the jar for taste.
2. (Top right) Peanut butter banana toast with chia seeds. Sub peanut butter for almond butter, if preferred.
3. (Bottom left) Fruit smoothie! It’s always good to keepalrrady cut up fruit in ziplock bags in your fridge to eat on the go. The ninja blender or bullet blender is good for a quick blend when your in a rush. My favorite fruit smoothie combo is banana mango pineapple and vanilla Greek yogurt for protein.
4. Yogurt parfait. If you prefer not to blend the fruits. Eat them whole with yogurt, granola, and chia seeds.

Not a #Snickers but it’s pretty close! @rxbar in Chocolate Sea Salt hit the spot when I needed a snack at work and did somewhat remind me of that candy bar. This shake I drink everyday has benefited my health in so many way.
I have more energy, less cravings for sweets, better digestion, it’s high in protein and easy for this busy mom to make on the go! I can customize it in so many way. Currently my favorite recipe is 1 scoop vegan chocolate superfoods blended with almond milk, ice and peanut butter powder on top 💕
