Happy Football Sunday! 🏈 What’s my fav part of Sunday’s? The food 🤤 But why should I have to choose between healthy eating and some GOOD FOOD!?... I don’t! What’s #onmyplate ? A delicious and low carb version of chicken wing dip that honestly has no difference in taste to the classic dish. If I told you that by swapping out one of the cream cheeses in the ingredients list for some plain Greek yogurt, some fat free ranch or blue cheese and some low fat shredded cheeses and it tastes A-M-A-Z-I-N-G would you be interested? I hope so! Why should we choose between nutrition and Sunday football treats? I sure don’t! Give it a try and tell me what you think! ☺️ Here’s the recipe:
8 oz low fat cream cheese
2 cups mozzarella cheese
2 cups cheddar cheese
2/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 1/2 cups franks red hot sauce
16 oz white chicken (can buy it canned or shred the chicken yourself)
Combine it all in the crock pot, let it cook for a few (20/30 minutes) and BOOM, enjoy! Fast, nutritious, and YUMMY! 🤤 .
For Keto or low carb you can do what I did and combine it with some delicious cauliflower crackers! These are my new go-to! Low carb and you don’t even know it? Getting in veggies and I don’t even know it? Gimme gimme 🙋🏼♀️ thank you #fromthegroundup cracker company for this wonderful indulgence. If you want to add in some more veggies to this plate you can even use sliced bell peppers or celery to dip with!

Someone recommend I try this place while I was in Banff (can’t remember who).. anyways, wasn’t a big fan. The duck wings were juicy and plump, but the sauce was too heavy and sweet; killed it for me. The crab cakes were basic, I could taste that it was canned crab. The mac and cheese was ok, but not creamy enough. The steak was the only thing I really enjoyed, it was seared perfectly to my liking.

📝One of the things I've decided to put on my to-do list during the last few months: taking more time to explore the food photography part of my job. Most of the photos I share as support of my posts on social media are quick snaps taken at breakfast or #lunchtime and, let's be honest, having the skills to get great results in a short time and without an ideal set-up has been useful in several working occasions. BUT I love taking my time to work on a photo and literally be able to SLOW DOWN and build up a connection with what I'm doing⠀
📷 So, on my to-do list for the near future, I definitely have more time spent behind the camera, a photography workshop I want to arrange in #Dublin, and plenty of interesting food photography jobs. Do you have any skills or change you want to work on? Chiara #amatterofnourishment⠀

La maggior parte delle foto che condivido a supporto dei miei posts sui social sono fatte rapidamente a colazione o pranzo e, in tutta onestà, avere la capacità di ottenere ottimi risultati in tempi brevi e senza un set-up ideale, mi è stato molto utile in varie occasioni di lavoro. MA mi piace studiare un'mmagine con il giusto tempo ed essere anche in grado di rallentare un po' e connettermi al meglio con ciò che sto facendo⠀
📷Dunque, nella mia lista di cose da fare per il prossimo futuro, vedo sicuramente tanto tempo passato dietro la macchina fotografica, un workshop di fotografia che vorrei organizzare a Dublino, e tanti lavori interessanti legati alla fotografia ed al cibo.
