Love being available to help him when he needs it. In the past he always got to do the vie stuff that we both enjoyed. But life on the farm is most of the time not scheduled so I would miss out in certain things while I was at work. .
I hated missing out because this is OUR THING we do together! I was tired of missing out! So happy for the life we are building. I love that I get to be a part of it now 💖 on my schedule. This was just our lunch time date today... sorting cattle 🐄😂
Some may call it marriage counseling... I would agree. We have come a long way together! Don’t worry, it’s a rule- you can’t hold anything that happens against the other one while sorting cattle 😉😎❤️

These ideas used to hold me back. It was a fear of mind of what people would think of me. I lived my life based on the fear of what others thought of me. I made decisions about what to wear, how to do my hair, what to say and what not to say. What a waste!!! .
I was tired of letting fear run my life. It was uncomfortable, but I pushed through. Living how I want has been reviving! I finally feel like I’m living now! I don’t share the things I do to brag or to boast, I share them in hopes of changing someone’s life. I share them in hopes that you too can find the confidence to live the life YOU want. To have the FREDOM you want. To chase your DREAMS! .
I want to live out God’s plan for me. And if that means getting personal, sharing my struggles & my life with others, then that’s what I’ll do. I know God uses imperfect people 🙋🏻♀️ to teach his word, to show a life with Him is possible! I’m just trying to live my purpose and fulfill my calling. If He can make a difference in my life, He can make a difference in yours too.

While eating lunch with the kiddos, we made our meal plan for the week 💖 I love having them help. It helps them learn what food groups are needed in each meal, and also what foods are best out of food groups! .
By sitting down and planning our meals for the week, I stay on track with my wellness GOALS and my BUDGET!!! They did a good job getting a protein, veggies, and a carb in for each meal. Grocery trip later today and prep after that! .
What’s fun is sharing my plan with my health/wellness group.... this help get new meal ideas too! We are starting a new program tomorrow so I want to make sure I have everything ready to go!! Love having a balanced nutrition plan that fits my needs paired with workouts that get me results I want!! I don’t have to leave my house each morning & it fits my budget with a one time fee 💰

You guys! I did something in the last 36 hours that I have never done before! I am so stinking proud of myself for jumping in going with it!
I Wanted to go to a conference in March that helps with habits and performing at a high-level to achieve your goals. I knew some gals on my coaching team we’re going and I wanted to join them! When I checked into it I didn’t feel I could do it since we are so close to paying off our debt. Our goal is to pay off our student loan debt this year and I wanted to stick to it!
The opportunity came to get a ticket to this conference for a discounted price. I had felt that my prayers had been answered! I have never done anything like this before, and was nervous. I am proud to say I have my ticket to the conference and my flight is booked!
In the past I had a great opportunity to do something similar, but I was too nervous to book a flight for the cost of the flight, so I didn’t. And I regretted that decision ever sense. NOT THIS TIME!!! IM GOING!!!! .

I want to take a second and shout this beautiful mama out! She’s had plenty of life events that could have gotten her down, divorce.... moving... losing her job... starting a new relationship... having a baby..... BUT SHE STILL SHOWED UP! I know it wasn’t always easy for her, but she never gave up in herself! I know there were days where she didn’t want think she would make out though... but she put one foot in front of the other. She didn’t give up on herself!! .
Life has a way of giving you struggles to strengthen you. .
Not only is she learning about herself, she is rediscovering her “normal”. She is down 10lbs pre baby weight and feeling great!! She has learned how to eat to fuel her body and it is paying off. No quick fixes here!! .

NEVER MISS A MONDAY!!! I love Mondays because it helps at the tone for the week! My favorite way to start my Monday morning is getting my sweat on. I used to dread Monday mornings, I would always be tired and worn out from the weekend. I soon realized having a healthy lifestyle is more than just exercising.

I was too busy to workout. 😩 I had 3 kids, a 2 year old and a set of twins... I worked a full time job outside of the home. My kids did not sleep through the night. I had one kiddo who was sick a lot! My hubby is a busy man and worked a lot. .
I had A LOT going on.
I was so tired of being tired and needed to have just a few minutes of my day to do something for myself. I needed to feel better! .
If I had time to scroll social media, explore Pinterest, or any other unnecessary activities... I had time to workout. 😂I could schedule my day to make it happen. For me, it was working out FIRST thing in the morning. I would get up at 5 am- my hubby was on kid duty. It didn’t matter how many times I was up in the night... 5 am was MY time. .

This is the day for setting resolutions and intentions to make 2019 the best year it can be! For me, I think resolutions are fabulous, but setting intentions and making a commitment is more important. 💪🏽🙏🏽 I made a commitment 3 years ago to workout regularly, eat to fuel my body, and work on my mindset so the first two things will happen. As you set your goals or resolutions for the new year, I encourage you to set these three things in place that have TOTALLY changed a wishful resolution into a committed lifestyle.
1) Find a buddy! 👯♀️For me, that’s my online community of women/men working on their health and fitness goals. We all have different goals for our personal health, but we share a common mindset to grow and be better each day. We check in daily in our exclusive community online for support, encouragement, and the most important for me.... accountability!
2) Find your WHY! 🤔Ask yourself WHY you want to hit your goals or follow through with your resolution. Why is it important to you? Ask yourself this a couple times to find a deeper purpose for making a change. What will get you out of bed to workout on a cold Thursday morning in February. If your WHY isn’t deep enough, you’re not getting up!
3) Revisit your goals and why DAILY! 📋I’ve been doing this and have hit all kinds of goals I’d failed to hit in the past. The reason? I am fully immersed daily in what I’m trying to accomplish. I read or write my goals every morning in my “miracle morning” routine. It helps me remember my purpose each day and take action!

Do you have paying off debt as one of your resolutions for 2019? .
Let me tell you a little about our story- we both have 4 year college education. Life got busy after kids. Somehow we were living paycheck to paycheck (aka we were not making a budget). We were paying all of our bills, but simply surviving. I remember HATING when payday came around because that meant it was time to sit down and pay bills, it meant it was time to see how much I had overspent and what should have been going to savings, went to other things. Things I didn’t really need, but felt that I did. Things that were not near as important as being debt free. .
Life began to get a bit easier, and I was getting more sleep (thank you for all night sleeping children). I started health/wellness coaching to help others with their health like someone had helped me. I started to see that total debt number and it made my stomach churn. I began to see how long it was going to take to get it paid off. We had goals and the debt was holding us back like 5 ball & chains! .
I remember thinking, “I’m smarter than this! I am better than this!” We took a Dave Ramsey class one year ago that really helped kick our butts in gear! We now make a monthly budget and KNOW WHERE OUR MONEY goes! My health coaching business has only helped get those paid off sooner!! We are so close!!! We will pay off all student loans in 2019!!! Baby step 3 here we come!
Money makes the world turn. Taking a look back...Man over the past 8 years of living in ATL God has blessed me to work on some of the biggest films on earth. A total of 200+ featured films, music videos, & television series. Questions about MEAL PREP!?
I get you!! Oh man- I used to get so anxious about meal prep! I thought I needed to have all my food for the week made all in one day. I mean yeah it’s nice to have it all done, but dang! A FULL DAY!? This busy mama ain’t got time for that! .
Let me break it down for you.... is your health important to you? That feeling when you can comfortably fit in a pair of jeans or what about trying in shorts in a few months... 🤷🏻♀️???😱 you know you FEEL better when you eat right, so why is it so hard to keep going?
I have found a system that works for me. I was tired of feeling uncomfortable in my own skin. I started making my health A PRIORITY!! I did it for my family! 🥰One of the best decisions I’ve made 💖
Let me share my tips with you!! 1. Make a meal plan for the week. I know life gets crazy so I typically plan 3-4 meals a week and know there will be leftovers. Don’t forget the snacks and breakfast items!
2. I make a list of ONLY the things I need for the grocery store. I stay on a budget this way!! Stay away from pre-packaged foods!
3. Schedule a time close to your shopping trip to peel/cut/prep your fresh veggies/fruit. “Unprepped” produce goes as at our house because it’s not an easy grab n go.
4. Set aside 1-2 hours to get the hard things done. By this I mean, prepare the things that will take the most time/mess all at once for your week. If I grill something, I throw extra chicken or beef on too so I have lunch/supper ready for the next meal. You already have the grill on... knock out two meals at once! Cook the rice or quinoa. Roast your veggies in oven, roast chicken in crock pot. Make your lasagna and have it ready to go in the fridge. Boil some eggs for an easy grab in go breakfast, Make some muffins to with them.
By having some things already done, it makes my week go easier. The nights when I get home from a busy day, things are ready to roll for a quick healthy meal! Having a plan is key! ✨If you fail to plan, you’re planning to fail!✨
