13 BILLION plastic bags are used every year in the UK, how many of them are single used? How many of them are discarded and end up in the ocean? I’ll leave that one to you 🌍

“Millions of plastic particles per square kilometre" could be contained in the garbage patch uncovered in the South Pacific, said Charles Moore, founder of Algalita Marine Research and Education. 🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠

Marine debris strikes again. We found this piece of rope and a ghost net on a nearby reef.
If every diver around the world picks up rubbish on every dive, we may not be able to completely rid the ocean of trash, but we can still make a significant impact.
One plastic bag may say a turtle’s life, one net could save a seal, one hook could save a shark.
You’ll never know what life you may have saved by picking up a piece of trash, but just the possibility is insensitive enough for me.
