Sometimes I’m too quick to share the shitty moments of motherhood, so here’s a snippet of a good day. Timing was perfect this morning & the girls gave me a huge chunk of sleep which meant I could enjoy my morning & cook a big breakfast with Sean & Jacob. I even had enough time to have a shower & straighten my hair & then ofcorse it was time for their next feed. We hustled everyone into the car to our local park & I ended up going for a solo exercise walk with Nellie in the carrier & Alba in the bassinet. After a week of being stuck inside it felt so therapeutic getting outside in the fresh air, listening to music, surrounded by hoards of people & just being able to be on my own in public gave me a bit of my independence back (...well the girls were there but they slept the whole way. 😂). Weather was epic, scenery was beautiful & the day was just cruisy & stress free. It still is. Man these girls are angels today.
Sometimes we can put too much focus on the crappy moments of our day when in reality we had plenty of good moments in between. Soaking in my sleeping babes & this epic weather ☀️
P.S. We used to love & use our @_cozigo sunshade everyday, but apparently it’s not compatible with our pram. I HATE clipping swaddles onto the pram. Any recommendations on a good breathable sunshade?
I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all the friends and family who have helped me over the last few months with the launch of Sweet Disorder. ⠀⠀
From those who have helped me with the physical stuff such as technology, trade marks, social media, labelling products, building flat pack furniture, taste testing :) , design work, to those who have supported me emotionally and have continued to challenge and encourage me. ⠀⠀
I have been truly amazed by how amazing you have all been. I am very grateful and hope that what we have created will bring some smiles to others and make a difference to NZ. ⠀⠀
Thank you x #email@example.com
Earned this beautiful medal today 😍
My fourth and definitely best half marathon at @queenstownmarathon . I ran well; left it all out on the course today. After all the worrying and planning with the forecasted rain it ended up being absolutely perfect - cloud to start, sunshine, cool temps and the most gentlest of breezes 👌🏻
The course was even more beautiful than I’d imagined (but how could it not be?) and actually more hilly than I had anticipated 😆
Stoked with the result and very proud of my efforts today.
