Still amazed how all of this works. The movement of people, goods and commerce. The diversity of people and cultures. NYC continues to be a melting pot it can be challenging to live here but its equally inspiring. #lovemycity❤ #nycexperience#nycculture#viewfromabove
What a remarkable dish ! Winter is here, and after FREEZING our guts out in NYC’s wind, we were in GREAT need for something warm and steamy🥶 we went for the signature noodle dish @hernameishan and it was a true blend of flavors with various meats and noodles, dunked in a sweet and spicy broth, all topped with an egg😋 I haven’t been to many Korean restaurants, so the mix of spicy and sweet was quite new for me, but I found it very addictive🔥 For dessert, we had a candied plantain with ice cream and a touch of ginger! Another unique and unforgettable combo✨

As a NYC actor, you don’t stop.
You have two phases: STRESSED for everything you have to do ( auditions, work, eat well, see your friends, catch that movie everyone talks about, classes, eat well, gym 5 times a week, learn that song, no, no don’t go to Schmackery’s); or GUILTY for all the things you’re doing/ not doing. (That pizza you ate. The audition you didn’t attend. The two extra hours in bed that stopped you from going to the gym. Why everyone seems to be 22 and you’re not. I SHOULD know this monologue they gave me 2 minutes ago. Can I even dance? I’m human garbage). You go from phase A to phase B and return like coming back and forth on the Brooklyn Bridge.
Thriving is a mini-phase that takes a hot second ( CD said you sounded great, you nailed that triple turn, my director said my character choices are solid, I’ve LOST 5 POUNDS ) when you feel ON TOP OF THE WORLD.
That’s when you say: “Things are going great... oh, hold on, gotta learn lines, I’m late for a callback, shit I’ve not been to the gym this week, sorry, gotta run!”, and then you’re onto STRESSED phase again.
It’s the frigging circle of life.
🎉That’s a wrap, ladies and gentlemen! 🎉
We have closed the big, pink doors on 5th Ave for the last time. While this Rosé Mansion (our very first!) may be closed, we are just getting started! Give us a hot minute to take a few days off, sleep, and maybe take a vacation before we plan where and when we’ll open the next Rosé Mansion(s). Thank you to everyone that came to sip Rosé with us! You are all amazing!!! We will be back before you know it. Until then, farewell, adiós, au revoir, じゃあね, 再见!!!
