I’ve been super busy lately... but it mostly seems like I’ve been busy thinking about how busy I should be. Idk 4 shows within a week and a half is a lot and I should cut myself some slack. It’s easy to ignore how mentally draining being “on” all the time as a creative can be, and instead focus on charging forward. REcharging is important, too, though. Anyway, here’s a #workinprogress I’ve been slowly painting. I want to continue to make time for my #bodypositive series, even if it’s just a little here and there. I’m always accepting submissions of womxn, and want to make this body of work as intersectional as possible. Know anyone who might be interested? Shoot me an email / DM. xo. .
Just like any other person on the “business” of nudes and social media... im presented with a few challenges: frontal shots are almost never going to work because there has to be censorship... which its fine: but personally i dont like to add elements that where not physically present in the shot. So i stay away from those poses as much as possible. Which means most accepted shots are with the body sideways in relation to the camera, or showing the back... Also because I mostly use natural light, i must always face it, which may make all of my photos look too similar. But my biggest challenge is the fact that i take my own images. Yet i take great pride when i pull off the looks i was going for. What could you suggest to improve this project as a whole? And please be serious and respectful. Thank you!
