One week of cleaner eating down ✔ the hubby has also done a great job this week, getting that body nice and healthy. I've had way more energy this week by choosing healthier foods. @alexspinoso_md

1️⃣ week out 😱

Peak Week starts tomorrow!
I let myself start getting pretty nervous about this show this weekend. The NPC Holiday Classic is going to be much bigger than my first show, already with over 300 pre registered athletes! The judging panel will be different, with an IFBB Olympia panel headed by some of the best! I then found out it was the largest NPC event for the state of Florida, and the largest in the country for the month of December! 😰
As much as you want to tell yourself it doesn't matter what you place, it's about the experience and learning, no one wants to lose and everyone has that fear of not placing well! Everyone! I know eventually that's going to happen more than likely, and how I handle that and learn from it will be most important!
There's one thing that puts my mind at ease. In all my worry, I told @mike_barber_fd8 "Oh well, it's too late now there's nothing I can do!" What he said, yet again, is what I should have been thinking about all along - "There's nothing you could have changed... you've given your all to this!" Ya know what, he's SO freaking right! In the end, no matter the outcome, I can say yes I gave my all, yes I did everything I was told, yes I followed the plan! There were no skipped workouts, there were no lies to my coach, and I have put in 15 weeks of HARD work and prep to get to where I am! So many things put in most don't know about and wouldn't understand! The best part? I have loved every damn minute! Although I know this sport is so subjective, it takes so much that most don't have! It has helped me develop more discipline, motivation, drive, willpower, and self control than I could have ever thought imaginable!! I wanted to attempt this journey to see if I could do it, to see what I was capable of, and no matter the outcome of one show, I've already proven to myself that I have dominated this sh*t, and that I can do anything I want to set my mind to!! 🙌👊👏💪
Talk about being in the lab this offseason!! This shape is crazy! ————————————-

Don’t know what everybody else does in their off season. Me, I’ve been determined to bring up my lagging body parts. That’s just what I’ve done, making sure everything is balanced. I’m not leaving anything on the table because these Pro shows are no joke buddy! So allow me to reintroduce me myself. 16wks & counting💯

I’m cracking up at myself because for 4 years, I would put this photoshoot for the new IFBB Pro Winners in my calendar pretending that it would happen, then have to delete the event because I never made it.
Then finally it did happen, and I was so happy that I forgot there were cameras all around and they caught my frog leg dance 😂😂😂
What a cool opportunity to share this experience with such lovely ladies💕💕💕 Video on @npcnewsonlineofficialpage YouTube channel!
After some good ol Active Release Technique from my man Dr. Joe at @spinechiropractic... I was feeling on top of the wooooorrrrld last night. Which was the best feeling because my shoulders are foreeeever screwing with me. Couple that with forcing some progressive overload on myself, and I’ve got myself a night fulllll of PRs 🤗 Literally my favorite way to spend my weekends.. just trying to do anything I can to get better and better and better. With eating, training, recovering being the priority.. Slowly and surely one day at a time I’m getting there :)
