but really I’m just posting this to show you guys that bodybuilding isn’t about being shredded af year round, it’s unrealistic to stay in a caloric deficit at all times, so you’ve gotta trust the process and let yourselves grow! 💪🏼 I may not be as aesthetically appeasing to look at in the video on the right, but sometimes it just be like that 🤷🏼♂️ •
5 weeks in between pics. 2500 cals Vs 4000 cals. I had my brother start off with a modified Keto eating pattern with focus on gut health and eliminating all processed foods. After getting the initial 15lbs of fluff off I was able to see what lied beneath. Current macros 4k cals ( Pro-240 Fat-100 Carbs-537) cardio 2-3 a week 15-20 mins. Been maintaining weight between 195-200lbs . I never wear jeans.
I didn’t even plan on wearing them today. But the pair of corduroy leggings I put on busted a hole when I pulled up on the belt loop.
So that led me on a search through my closet for a replacement pair of pants and I figured “ why not wear jeans?”.
I then proceeded to put on every pair of jeans in my closet. Mind you that every single pair of my jeans are at least 10 years old. Do you remember what the style was back then? It was the super low rise. You know the ones. The ones that show half your butt crack once their buttoned and pinned up. A la Christina Aguilera.
Yeah no go.
So the final pair of jeans that I put on with these ones. That were super loose in the waist but at least covered my butt. And guess who doesn’t own any belts? This girl.
So I then rummaged through my husband‘s closet. And guess what I found. A crocodile skin belt from 1987 that he bought for $300.... that fit my hips well enough so my jeans wouldn’t fall off.
So that’s my story today.

Hey all!!! Just wanted to post a few shots from the amazing weekend I had on stage at the NPC Natural Northern in Cleveland, Ohio. This was my first ever show and I couldn't be more proud of myself. A huge goal of mine has been to just go thru a prep and push myself to see where I can get and then step on a stage (without falling😂👠). Mission accomplished!💪. I placed 5th in a good size open class C as well as 5th in the master's 35-39. I'm sure it's natural to question yourself afterwards thinking if there was anything you could have done or worked on better. Of course there is always room for improvement, BUT I'll be happy/proud of my hard work and dedication and keep grinding!!💪🙌

113lbs ➡️ 130lbs a total of 17lbs in 10 months. 🤩 Did I gain too much weight too fast? How do I handle that much weight gain? The picture on the left is me right after my first season of bikini competitions. A state of extreme leanness. The right is me currently in my improvement season. Happy and healthy! 💪🏼 I’d be lying though if I said I didn’t have bad body image days though. Competing is tough, both mentally and physically. I’ve never been 130lb... not even before competing so it’s a new physique and body I’m getting use to. 💕 But I’m in a healthy place and I know I’ll blow my 2017 physique out of the water when I step back on stage in 2019! 🏆 #transformation
