725 miles down, that’s a longggggg ass day driving a U-Haul. Oh the things you see tho, Meteor crater - always wanted to go there, alas drove right by 😞 “Standing on a corner in Wilslow Arizona” .....nope drove right by. New Mexico is pretty, always thought so, and yes that last picture is the moon!
All in all a great & safe first day however there is no way I’m doing 700+ miles tomorrow again, no way no how. Time to slow down and make sure we get to SC safe. .
There is often a compulsion to move through cancer treatment quickly and get back to your “normal” life a.s.a.p.
Don’t rush. The decisions you are about to make will impact your health for years to come. It is in your best interest physically and emotionally to make informed choices based on what you’ve learned and your intention to heal in the best way possible for
I have always believed that a serious diagnosis calls for teamwork as you embrace your “new normal.” Are you slowing down to make the best choices today?
Indulgences can definitely be a very good thing. Stopping off at this little French bar in New York to drink an excellent cup of coffee was a great choice.
And it felt extra special because it was suggested by my fellow cyclist, Laura 💗
I felt very loved - (she doesn’t drink coffee)
Sometimes it’s the smallest actions that reach the heart.
It’s easy to forget that everyone needs to feel that they matter... it could just be an extra few seconds making eye contact with the checkout girl at the supermarket, and giving her a big smile. This is such an easy thing to do and well worth it. Will you try it?
Hey all, ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We’ve been super quiet around here as we keep busy working hard behind the scenes and frankly, purposely unplugging and detoxing from screens after a busy summer season.
September is all about new beginnings and we’ve been mindfully choosing and embracing changes; from our logo to color palettes, and more excitingly, writing our new story.
For the coming weeks, we’re focused on getting our blog up and running to cover all thing holistic nutrition, health and wellness, and keeping you on the loop with our new kitchen creations till we announce more about our new location. We’ll also be sharing smoothie bowl basics and recipes so stay tuned 😊⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We thought of sharing our self-advice in this phase:
In life, we have a tendency to rush, even if it means compromising who we are and what we stand for, do, and offer…but for those of us with a precise vision/mission to raise the bar while maintaining strong ethics, that isn’t optional. Growth and lasting results are never achieved through shortcuts. On any new endeavour, take your sweet time in the development process (with a realistic time frame in mind of course if we’re speaking business 😉) and enjoy your own becoming. Stick to your values and trust your pace! You got this! ——————————————————————————
