Probably the most magical 💫 place on earth. My phone has been ringing every day that I need to start planning our camping trips for the summer... I definitely need to add this place to our list for when we go to Olympic National Park. I don’t actually know exactly where it is, but I will find it!
Give me all the green. 🌲🏔🌿
because of you i can feel myself slowly but surely becoming the me i have always dreamed of being..

my life. I fell in love with surgery at the age of 13. I still am madly in love with it. so far I have had 6 surgeries. I have 5 scars. my next surgery is this summer; then I wait 20-30 years until the big total hip replacement. typing this is hard. stepping into a surgery waiting room and acknowledging the fact that I am the only 22 year old among many individuals who are age 50 and above is hard. but I am proud of who I am today. and I still love surgery.
What’s on our 2019 to do list? Golden hour at the most NW in the PNW! The Cape Flattery Trail leads you to the most northwest point of the contiguous USA with incredible coastal viewpoints, boardwalk trails, and a sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean meeting the Strait Juan De Fuca.
Thank you 📸: @andysacksy for sharing this stunning capture from the Cape!
Another aerial composition. I honestly thought I would’ve spent more time on the mountains this winter but the conditions on the coast have been too good to pass up! This was taken a few weeks ago in the early morning during high tide. Nothing like watching stormy seas and waves crash against the rugged cliffs on the coast.
A gloomy Oregon coast is still a beautiful Oregon coast.

This is from a few weeks ago. I didn’t like my ordinal edit so I set it aside and tried again. I’m now happy enough with it to share. -
I’m learning patience is key in photography even with editing. Anyone who knows me knows I’m not the most patient person thus accepting this has been a difficult journey, though I feel I am now making headway.
"I simply can't imagine my world without you in it. Together, we laugh till we cry and we cry till we laugh. We feel each other's joy and we share each other's pain with a connection that that only sisters have.
We can talk openly any time, knowing our most intimate conversations will be kept safe, with a confidence that cannot be breached. The bond of our sisterhood anchors with a solidarity that allows us to ride out any storm. But the greatest blessing of all is that through all the ups and downs, all the trials and heartaches we have endured, we can always find solace and peace when we are together; a level of comfort like no other. I am forever grateful that our relationship is a sisterhood of unconditional love and friendship. I thank God that you are my sister. And I thank you for being my best friend." Love you so much. Happy birthday sis! ❤️

i’ve been working on being more present lately. this year has started off on the wrong side of the bed it feels like, & between the stress of juggling parenting, business, homemaking, publishing one book while working on another, all while maintaining relationships & furthering my own personal development.. sometimes i feel like i get caught in the cracks of my never ending to-do list. & sometimes it overwhelming trying to maintain boundaries without isolating myself. love unconditionally while healing my own storms, in the face of another’s. living with chronic pain/health issues can take up a lot of spoons & i find myself neglecting the simplest most important parts of my day, like breakfast & meditation just because i feel too pressed for time or too exhausted either emotionally or physically. so this is just a reminder to take the time for yourself, & i’m mostly talking to me. 🌸✨🌝🥄🍒

It’s funny to see who really reads my captions because I can type a clever thought out message and they’d leave comments like “wow, sick tones bro”
Wow! Lake Crescent just set the bar pretty high for 2019 for the best glassy conditions of the year. Just an amazing day for our Lake Crescent and Marymere Falls tour today. Not bad for January. It sure rains a lot here in the winter 😉 #HikeOlympic
