It was at the end of my 2 week holiday and all I wanted to do was find a good meal (edit: I mean a burger!) and then head back home. When I however saw the turn off sign for the Huka Falls, I impulsively decided to see it anyways.
It did not disappoint!
I learned that the Waikato River, normally up to 100 metres wide, abruptly narrows to just 20 metres as it crosses a hard volcanic ledge. This of course causes a huge volume of water to collide together while also picking up masses of thumbling air bubbles thus creating this incredible view.
The Falls may not have disappointed but I was however disappointed in myself (and actually super embarrassed). I forgot to manually turn off the headlights of my car and sure enough the battery had died. To make a long story short, after asking a couple of people to boost my car, a lovely young Australian couple helped me out and I am now forever indebted to them!

Probiotics are in foods like yogurt and sauerkraut. Prebiotics are in whole grains, bananas, onions, garlic, soybeans, and artichokes. In addition, probiotics and prebiotics are added to some foods and available as dietary supplements.
