Getting stronger day by day... and growing these arms 💪🏾💪🏾 #nodaysoff
This morning when my 3:00 am alarm went off, I silenced it. I wasn't going to force myself to get up and exercise because my body needed more rest. I reset my alarm for 5:00 am instead. That extra 2 hrs of sleep was exactly what I needed. And I was able to enjoy my workout on a well rested body!
I have gotten really good at knowing what my body needs and what I can physically handle. Instead of giving up or giving in when I'm tired or sore or REALLY want the junk food, or the alcohol--I just stop and really listen to what my body is telling me.
This lifestyle is hard. I've watched a lot of people quit because it was "too hard." 📺Newsflash: Feeling crappy every day is hard too. A lot of the choices you are currently making are hard to live through, but you are so used to crappy, you'd rather choose crappy than change. Trust me, I chose crappy for so long I didn't know if I could ever un-crap myself.
I cringe when I think about how I destroyed my body for a peace of mind I never got. There are no days off from this lifestyle and some days are really, REALLY hard...but I'd choose this hard over the crappy hard any day!
I am going to begin ramping up the cardio for the next two weeks and see what kind of changes I can make to this physique! 👀🔥Sitting at around 179 lbs right now. 🦍 #NeverSatisfied

Spent the end of my day at the beach trying to get a tan because i am beyond pale🙄 went to the @ultimategrandprix yesterday to watch some friends compete and all i can say is that it kicked my ass into high gear! I have a few short weeks left to really work as hard as possible and put in my all.
On another note @realgoodfoods enchiladas are amazing and the macros are even better 4 carbs for 2 of them count me in😛 loving this prep so far and still being able to find yummy food that fits definitely helps! 🥓🥞

Did you know that If you stop doing cardio for 2 weeks you loose 25% of your VO2 Max (it reflects how well you can deliver oxygen to your tissues). You won’t be able to perform as well!
I haven’t sprinted in the last 4 weeks and man did 10 minutes of this suck 😝 so happy to be able to incorporate HIIT cardio back into my routine. Nothing beats the feeling of pushing myself. Currently sprinting for 20 seconds on and 40 seconds off at level 12. Next time I’ll be bringing it up a notch, got to get my endurance back up!

I will only go as far as my ATTITUDE will take me. I want to be the best, I want to be great... one day extraordinary but “wanting” it is not enough. It’s about making the right choices every single day, owning my mistakes, holding myself accountable and keeping my attitude in line with my vision. Today see the value in the little things, smile at a stranger, ask someone how they are doing, help a co worker without them asking, be grateful for where you are, be enthusiastic about where you are going, take risk, do not settle for mediocrity and make Monday a great day! Greatness lies in your choices... it’s up to YOU!
