Reflection Canyon, a very beautiful place to be. It took several months of planning to get this shot. As soon as I saw pictures of reflection canyon, I started reading as many blogs I could find to figure out a way to get to this extremely remote destination. It’s a hike that test your perseverance to its core. Total of 20 challenging miles (RT) through rugged Utah’s unmarked and lightly used trail in the middle of desert with 45 lbs burden on my back. I had downloaded offline maps and other directions information using @gaiagps. Just to reach the undesignated parking area from where the hike starts, it is 2.5 hours of driving on an unmaintained and unpaved road called ‘Hole in the rock road’. Initially, when I started the hike on a wrong route, I ended up on the wrong side of the slot canyons from where I had to turn back and take detour. The last 2 miles of the hike was on slick rock which was pretty tough. After a long journey on foot for 5 and 1/2 hours, I finally arrived at the destination at 7:00pm barely made for the sunset that day. The majestic view of this canyon during sunrise is truly amazing.
P.S. Hiking to Reflection canyon requires a lot of route finding and climbing over slick rock with steep drop offs. You definately need 4WD vehicle with high clearance. And take lots and lots of water as there is no water source at all. I will be posting a blog soon about this journey. •
Pt. 2: Fox 🌲
I have so many artworks that I have done and I'm just to lazy to take pictures of 😅 I want to start posting a lot more of my art, even things that take me less than an hour because I feel like that's important too 💕

This was one of the many incredible pit stops we had to make on our way to Shenavall. How can you just drive by somewhere as beautiful as this, after all?

Completely off the grid in one of the most remote locations in the UK (and with unrelenting rain outside), we read through ‘bothy book’ entries from years past and soon realised we weren’t alone in the sketchiness of our trip there. There was also a game of who could tell the most convincing, elaborate or absurd lies and stories about the bothy and their experiences. We opted to go for the convincing route, and may have people scouring the bothy outside and in for the entrance to a ‘well-stocked basement complete with a wine cellar’ for some time to come 🤫
Heading out shortly to spend the evening with some local Detroit blogger friends (yay!!) and bringing a fresh batch of these Raspberry Oatmeal Crumble Bars! Such a perfect summer dessert (especially served with a scoop of ice cream) and extra @driscollsberry raspberries. Make them this weekend!! Link in bio #crowdedkitchen
