Auckland Harbour. New Adventure: New Zealand. Greetings to the Tinder couple 🌚

We took the Skyline Gondola up to the top to get the most gorgeous views for sunset! I love when the sunlight touches the mountains, it’s such an ethereal moment, and a calm seems to sets over the city and night starts to fall. One of my favourite times of the day definitely has to be twilight! If you’re planning to dine here, do make sure you book in advance! Or you could have bar bites like we did and watch the sun go down!
Ems loves going to the playground! This Dino playground by the banks of Lake Wanaka was amazing! See our stories for how it was like! She loves seeing and playing with other kids, adores the swing, and is just all ready to climb and run everywhere! The second picture is totally the face she gives when we say it’s time to go home! Don’t grow up too fast my baby! I hope you never lose your adventurous spirit!

Arrowtown. Ems had a blast splashing in the stream, she kept pointing and asking us to go back and let her splash some more! Ah the joys of being a child, such pure magical innocence, it’s such a good reminder for us too! .
Walking along the stream was so beautiful, truly autumn foliage at its best!
Hey, look at @3breaths: Giddy up!
"EVERYONE HAS A "HAPPY PLACE." WHATS YOURS?🤔
My happy places usually consist of beaches, tropical destinations right down to the quiet locations surrounded by mountians and waterfalls.
Growing up was completly different. We were surrounded by dry flat paddocks, a few lakes and alot of animals to keep us company.
Wouldnt change it though. Spending hours with the horses and dogs roaming along side for the long jounreys on the weekends and after school was something that felt relaxing and exhilerating all at once. It was my happy place.
Always looking up new tracks to explore and time to bond with amazing creatures with no one else around. What a treat. Dry hot summers of 45 degrees would encourage us to set off early before sunrise to swim in the near by lake. We wouldnt be home till sunsets as the locals would be down there with the boats in ready for the day.
But then you "grow up". In "growing up", the contrast for happy places changes. .
Always chasing the next travel hit. .
As different as they become, new locations and people can influence you to experince new things but horses have always been a sense of home.
Where ever you are and go in the world REMEMBER YOUR HAPPY PLACE. This is your home. Home is a feeling not so much a location. .
When you know what makes you happy do it! Simple.
DEETS: Delicate ferns and mosses grow on the cave's sloping floor, and phytokarst stalagmites also grow towards the light, similarly following the growth pattern of the plant life that helps form and shape them.
This photo was taken at one of the glaciers in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. The lake only began to form in the 1970s due to gradual melting of the glacier. The lake is projected to expand in the coming years and the floating ice will be disappeared in no time.
This Earth Day is not a celebration of the Earth and we definitely don’t deserve to celebrate it. It just want us to treat it better and we still have a lot to work on, but I have high hopes that we can do this!
So, what are you giving to this Earth? 🌏
Sorry for the deep caption. 😅
P.S. Hope you all had a great Easter break! 🐣

Raindrops keep falling on my head.
This is perhaps Auckland's most photographed waterfall.
Raindrops are falling on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothing seems to fit
Those raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling
So I just did me some talking to the sun
And I said I didn't like the way he got things done
Sleeping on the job
Those raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling
But there's one thing I know
The blues they send to meet me
Won't defeat me, it won't be long
Till happiness steps up to greet me
Raindrops keep falling on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red
Crying's not for me
'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complaining
Because I'm free
Nothing's worrying me
It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me
Photos does not make any justice... yesterday we wanted to see the sunset from the pinnacles summit but it was a bit too cloudy, today we woke up at 5 am to see the sunrise, we walked in the dark under the rain and even tho we didn’t get to see a full sunrise we got to take moody shots with a few sun rays above the clouds, we got soaking wet on the way down but it was totally worth it!
759 m breathtaking 360 degree panoramic views of the sparkling sea in the distance the coastline of the of The Coromandel, the Bay of Plenty, Hauraki Gulf and Plains.
Anddddd it’s a wrap! Everywhere I go is a living painting, and every moment is a reminder of the abundance and beauty of Mother Nature. While I deliberately choose the lifestyle I’m living now, this journey has been a great opportunity to wind down and breathe slowly. Now that serendipity is restored, time to return to my battles with fresh eyes and renewed spirits. Till next time New Zealand Kia Ora 🌿
Tawharanui Regional Park!!! A beautiful coastal and bush walk with many different native birds to spot along the way!!!

LAKE WANAKA. From one majestic alpine town to the next and each so different! The drive from #Tekapo to #Wanaka is nothing short of spectacular. Wide open landscape then curving your way between vast mustard-hued mountain ranges, it’s impossible to stop looking out the window! 👀 ~
And then to arrive in beautiful @lakewanakanz with its vast open landscape, majestic lake, hip youthful vibe and pretty tree lined streets filled with autumnal colour. What a joy. ~
We stayed at @edgewater_lakewanaka which is a great hotel and the most fantastic location! We’ve had some great food too with snacks & drinks our first night at main street eatery Trout (a local recommendation) then second nights dinner at @amigos_nz which was really great Mexican and such a fun vibe! ~
We also made it to the divine @wanakalavenderfarm today which I’ll share more tomorrow. We are truly having the best time and I just feel so blessed to be here, making unforgettable memories like this with our little family. Makes up for the years where we didn’t really go anywhere or see anything and just worked on the house! @lakewanakanz@purenewzealand#NZMustDo#lovewanaka#purenewzealand

The moodiest place ever 🌿 Weird, that I was actually praying for rain when we were in Milford Sound. It makes all these waterfalls all the more epic 🌧️
P.S we have heaps of new blog posts on our time on Milford. Link in bio ⬆️

Another tender NZ sunset and another furry friend on our way 🐈
Earth day! We’ve all been called to be good stewards of what we’ve been given. And this planet we live on is well worth looking after! I love nature and wildlife, and I hate knowing beautiful places are deteriorating and animal numbers are on the decline. There’s plenty more I can do in my own life to help turn things around, I’m not claiming to be the best advocate, but I’ve always hoped that my photos will help people see the beauty of Earth and encourage them to look after it as well as enjoy it! 🌏

I am such an autumn person. Give me a quiet, cozy spot with a simple view of gorgeous trees with colourful leaves on a crisp April day, fuzzy socks, a warm drink, and a good book and I will be in all my glory.

The descent from Mt Tongariro overlooking Lake Rotoaira and Lake Taupo 😍💙
When looking at the shot you might probably think a lot of planning went into it. To be honest it was pure luck. I arrived at the Nugget Point the evening before, check on the app how the milky way will align and boom, it told me that shortly after midnight it will rise right above the lighthouse. To light up the trail I was running up and down the path with my head torch on. Eventually I run into a possum! I think I got more scared of it, then it did of me. We exchanged the looks and shortly after it disappeared back into the bush. -
