🌴🇺🇸Family time, with an awesome view over the city💛 Have a good weekend folks!
This is our favorite view of Las Vegas, from afar. 😁 It’s so much more than The Strip and it’s surrounded by so much beauty!
The city offers everything you can imagine (and way too much more). The people watching is insane. AND the mountains offer an escape from all that anytime! 💕
All that and all you have to do is ignore one street?! Though the people watching there is worth a trip. 😆 #lasvegas#redrock#climbing

Please don’t spend your life holding back from doing the things you really want to simply because you’re afraid of what people will think.⠀
People will judge your actions regardless of how you behave. So you might as well do what you actually want to.⠀
Life is a short precious thing. Make the most of it.⠀
Seriously proud of this woman. She has put up with me for nearly 22 years and has allowed me to push her out of her comfort zone the entire time. She doesn’t always love the crazy dangerous things I do but she is always right there with me doing it. I’m pretty sure she had no idea what she was getting into when we got married but she’s stuck with me now. 😜
Many climbing holds just aren't holdy enough for me! Allen will say just put your middle finger over your first, as if that makes it better. Or trust your feet, which I so don't. I love to watch Allen, Matt, and other climbers and am just fascinated with what they can do with so little to work with! Those "holds" are just nubs or cracks! I'm not quite there yet, but improving slowly. My logical brain works against me though, because so many of the moves are impossible, even though I watch them repeatedly being made. They're still impossible in my mind! Allen and Matt climb more with their hearts and muscles I think. My muscles aren't that strong and my heart really doesn't care very often, so I have work to do on my brain. 😆 But I’ll get there! 💪
If you aren’t having fun and challenging yourself then sooner or later you will get bored.⠀
I've always loved gymnastics/calisthenics style training and since I've started adding more of it into my workouts I've fallen completely in love with exercise even more than before!⠀
It pushes me crazy hard and I love the fact I’m training to be able to do some crazy badass sh*t. Eventually anyway.😜⠀
The L-sit is something I’ve been working on for a while and I’m managing to hold it for a little longer each time I try.⠀
The quads cramp isn't getting any easier to handle though.😆 Swipe to see the moment on each L-sit when it hits.😱😂⠀
Please excuse the repeated swearing, cramp is evil!😂
This guy. There are so many times, usually when I'm hot and tired, when I wonder why on earth I let him talk me into things. I definitely think it when I'm cold and tired, swimming through underground canyons!! But even though I always think it, I'm still always glad I did. 😁 He does always choose the crazy things, but then we always have a blast! I'll still whine and complain a bit, it's what I do. But I'll also enjoy the crazy too! #climbing#bouldering
People have asked what inspired me to open The Poppet Project. The short answer is my 2 children. I'm reminded so much of the longer answer when I see this picture. My children (like all) absolutely love to do really fun, and messy, projects and activities. They usually require a lot of materials and a lot of clean up. Every day they ask "can we please make this?" or "can we please do this?" I rarely say no 😁🎉 Before I opened the studio, our house was covered in paint, glue, and glitter from years of creating at home. So after years of talking, testing, and planning with my children, we opened! I could not be happier that we did.
This weekend they wanted to fill 100 (seriously 300) water balloons in the bathroom for a water balloon fight. And, of course, I said yes ❤ #neverstophavingfun#notafraidofmesses
This was January 25, 2011 my first ever @xgames 8 years later I still think it’s bananas to be able to stand at the top of the halfpipe. Thanks for all the good times and memories. Can’t wait for more! 📽 @bishopjosh#neverstophavingfun
