I know I’ve been a little MIA on here but for good reason - CASS & CO. IS REBRANDING!! This has been in the works for a few months and finally IT’S READY! Cannot tell you how nervous/excited/stressed/relived/pumped I am feeling right now. Changing your business name can be a huge risk but this is something I have felt a very strong push to do for awhile. With this name change comes a chance for me to open up a bit and be a little more raw and vulnerable with you guys. This will always be a place for me to share my work, but with the rebrand it will also be a place to share a little more about myself as well! Which I am kinda freaking out about cuz sometimes I worry that no one cares about me and is only here for my wedding videos (don’t blame you). But after months of going back and forth and countless family and friends helping me gain the confidence I need it’s happening. I’m posting on insta to prove it. And yes i am teasing you to build some suspense. Oops. But it’s ok you only have to wait until tomorrow 😜
Couldn’t have asked for a better ending to my 2018 weddings. After A TWO FREAKING YEAR ENGAGEMENT Ali and Jon had the wedding of the century. It was a no brainer that i would fly back out to Arizona to film their wedding because i might have been looking forward to it almost as much as they were. It was absolutely perfect in every way. Ali told me she wanted them to do a little interview before the wedding and now I’m like why doesn’t everyone do this?!?! Gosh I love these two and their beautiful brunch wedding. Full wedding film can be found in my bio 💕

Welcome back to the #kidvideocountdown to Christmas!!! 🎥❤️🎄
We started this countdown last year as a friendly reminder of the value of home videos, especially years and years (and years!) down the line. For me, this appreciation and love of family home videos came from my own parents, who bought a video camera when we were kids and captured tons of moments from our childhood with it. Luckily my mom also had an appreciation for organization, which led to drawers of nicely labeled VHS tapes (mostly by year and event), which she then later spent hundreds of hours transferring to DVD. A couple years ago I invested some time transferring all the DVD’s to digital footage so I could edit and now share with you! 👍🏻😊🙌🏻
Today’s clip is a brilliant example of the fact that I wasn’t exactly born with musical talent... but I did seem to have a sense of humor about it 🤷🏼♀️

@thereal10cellphones “Your Loss” Music Video Out Now. Link in bio. Just released from the vault. Shot it last spring but it’s one of my favorite videos. More with 10 coming soon. Tag who I should work with next.
Hannah and Drew had a magical December wedding at @fftcarolinas , complete with Charlie Brown Christmas trees! Uptown Charlotte was blanketed in rain and fog, but that didn't affect how perfect the day turned out to be. Hannah and Drew rocked it despite the weather and got some incredible shots as a result! Their coordinated first dance stole the show, and Sir Purr even joined in on the party! Enjoy their teaser! • 👰 @hannahbrookej • 🤵 @donatell
Happy Friday my loves! I hope you have cozy and warm weekend with your family and furry ones during the snowstorm we’re suppose to get! ❄️☃️🧤 I’ll be curled up editing a few new projects coming soon. ☺️
“Out here there’s certainly, alien activity...” 👽 Going back to Cali in a week for a fun film project with Lucky Knox Media. Hopefully Maverick’s stays big too! 🌊 🌊 🌊

The sunset, the giggles, Maddie's reaction to her sis surprising her, the fist bump, the dance moves.. what an amazing day 💕

Don’t go anywhere... in exactly one week we’re gonna start the #kidvideocountdown to Christmas where I share my old toddler videos, meltdowns and awkward middle school talent shows all for your amusement. And to remind you the importance and value of capturing them (and importing, storing and backing them up!!!) this holiday season 🎥❤️👏🏻 #bdlbfamily 📷@carolynscottphoto

Our host Andy Wood spent the day on set with one of his favorite hero’s of the backyard! #swampthing#ncfilm
I know I usually post all the cute couple in love parts of the wedding film but I think some of the most underrated moments are the ones with the whole bridal party is together. I just think there is something special about being surrounded by your closest friends on the best day of your life. Just sent this pretty wedding off 💕 I’m on pace to finish all my current projects before Christmas so please pray that I don’t burn out and my baby keeps sleeping!
Season 2 of Kate Bowler’s podcast (‘Everything Happens’) is out, and tomorrow is the episode we got to film a little behind-the-scenes action of! So take it from me, this one is definitely worth a listen. It features an interview with the incredible Barbara Brown Taylor (featured in this clip), and her thought provoking conversation with Kate. I’ve included the link in our profile ⬆️ to make it easier to find! Enjoy 😊🎙📖 #bdlbcommercial@liesiveloved@katecbowler
So I’m back in the U.S. and today was on a shoot at an awesome friend’s house (and #badassbosslady) when she whips out her @thisisforthewomen mug. She knows my @thisisforthewomen shirt is my absolute favorite, so obviously this mug was perfectly appropriate for my afternoon tea.
At the end of the shoot she then asks me to pose with the mug and what you see here is literally the very best I could do. I like it though, because it pretty much sums up my feelings on the whole ‘This is for the women who don’t give a fuck’ thing. I love my shirt (and the mug) because it’s a statement that the time has come for us to just do us. For us as women to stop caring about what other people think, to stop apologizing all the time, and to start listening to our true inner compass and standing our ground. ...
But on the other hand, I do give a fuck. A lot of fucks actually, about things like my business, the stories we tell, my community and the people in it, and our country and what it stands for. And sometimes when I wear my shirt I worry that the nuances behind the shirt get missed. So for some reason pulling my hood up and trying to look serious, while at the same time not being able to contain laughter and a smile, feels like the very best combination.
