“The one I love is fighting for the one’s you love.” I had the honor of being commissioned by a Hornet squadrons wives to make a photo of these beautiful, strong Marine spouses as a gift for their CO’s wife. A special place in my heart for the military men and women in service who sacrifice daily and the wives and husbands who stand by them and make sure everything at home stays a well oiled machine. ***Faces have been blurred for their privacy and protection***

"An Army Ranger wounded in northwest Afghanistan on Sunday has died.
Sgt. Cameron Meddock, 26, died Thursday in Landstuhl, Germany, of injuries sustained from small arms fire Jan. 13 in Badghis Province, Afghanistan.
This was his second deployment in support of NATO’s Resolute Support mission in Afghanistan.
Meddock was an Army Ranger serving with Company A, 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment based at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. “Sergeant Cameron Meddock is one of America’s precious sons. The entire nation should strive to emulate the warrior, patriot and husband that Cameron was," Col. Brandon Tegtmeier, commander of the 75th Ranger Regiment, said in a statement. “The 75th Ranger Regiment will forever honor Sergeant Cameron Meddock, and his family will forever be a member of our Ranger family.”"

I was denied an opportunity today. But when you push against a door and it doesn’t open you find a new door, or build your own one.
So from this door not opening it’s only made me stronger and more focused on who I really want to be and what I want to achieve.
I’m going to take a step back and look at myself and who I am. Focusing on my roots and what was the main contributor to making me who I am today.
Becoming a paratrooper was, and will always be the hardest thing I have ever had to achieve. Therefore, anything that now stands in front of me I’ll be able to break through and have success when coming out of the other side because compared to what I’ve already achieved, it’s easy. So with that being said, that also means there is nothing I can’t do, if I really want to be able to do it.
So where is this leading? With the experience I have I’m going to be starting my ‘Zero to Hero Military Training’, designed for people looking to join different military fields and attaining the fitness level, mind set and mentally you need to pass selection and hit the ground running when it comes to starting basic training.
More details will be released over the next week.
P.S. This won’t be exclusive to just people looking to join the military. If you want to be fitter, stronger and ultimately more confident in yourself, then this will also work for you.
When you’re Para Fit, you’re Ready for Anything.
